Stayed here for business and a bit of pleasure. Great location at a decent price. Yet, they allow dogs and had a barking dog next to us all night......how crazy is that for 4 Star Hotel. If you need to get up early for meetings in the City you might want to consider the Marriott instead. No dogs. more

Best hotel bar 9/16/2007

very dissapointed with recent stay at this hotel, Very much lacking in any type of upscale food and beverage offerrings. Restaurant is very basic at best . Service did not live up to the rate I paid Cons: , service failures, no consistancy more

Best in Upton 2/3/2004

Recently for a company conference, I had to go around downtown charlotte to find a "modern" hotel. I checked and visited all I could, and I was very impressed with the Omni!! I think it is the best in charlotte. Clean and New, and right in the middle of everything, great location. Pros: Clean, Romantic, Great Service,, Good Conf. Space more

Best in Upton 2/3/2004

Recently for a company conference, I had to go around downtown charlotte to find a ""modern"" hotel. I checked and visited all I could, and I was very impressed with the Omni!! Nice for a weekend getaway 9/17/2002

We recently stayed at the hotel this past Sept '02 and thought it was great! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and our room (a jr suite with a corner view) was excellent. Our bed WAS triple sheeted and we found extra pillows and robes in the closet. The only downfall was room service which was rather pricey for the quality- while my husband's steak was good, my chicken pasta was horrible, the lemon sauce reminded me of lemon scented lysol! Breakfast in the restaurant was so-so. Pros: friendly staff, exercise room Cons: food, parking more
