What a beautiful restaurant. This log building isn't just pretty to look at, it is a great atmosphere to devour the contemporary menu! I had shrimp lollipops! Can you beat that! This building has had many restaurants try to make a go of it, but the Timber House has really made a success, and the food and friendliness of the staff are why! Friends and family have been here numerous times and used to visit the owners' old restaurant before it burned down. Lovely rustic, log-cabin interior. Typically recieved good service - Mary has always been top notch. Always pleased with the cedar plank salmon dishes and the mashed-potatoes (I think they're garlic?) are delicious. Always happy with the soups and salads, too. Never been there for the prime rib (they have special Prime rib dinners a couple nights a week, maybe Friday and Saturday) but heard great reviews and it is known to sell out. They have a full bar plus good selection of wine. It's a little bit pricey, especially for the area but about average cost for the food. Pros: lots of free parking, full bar, easy to get to, lovely setting Cons: location (it's way out there) more
