You get what you expect, but don't expect hi quality 4/22/2009

I go to Olive Garden when I'm meeting friends from out of town and we need an easy to reach family dining experience with no surprises. Olive Garden fits that bill. It offers the predictability of menus you would find in a chain restaurant and no one is confused about what they should order. Unfortunately, the consistency needed for chain appeal lends itself to "cooking-by-numbers" and overpriced, somewhat boring food. Extremely Disappoionting 2/28/2006

ALong with expecting to have great food, I thought the service would be as well. Boy was I disappointed. The food was overcooked, the sauce was separating (we had fettucinne alfredo) and when we asked to talk to a mgr. We were told that they were too busy to come and see us. My wife then orderd a dessert to take home, and when we got home, there was a hair in it. Totally disgusting. We called the restaurant to complain the next day, and were told that if we would bring the dessert back they weould replace it. UGH!! Cons: Mgr unavailable, service bad, food overcooked more
