I typed in a search for "upscale Plantation restaurants" and this i sone that popped up. I have eaten there. It is not upscale, and it's food is as far from genuine Italian as ...

I used to love Olive Garden. Their creations, their specials.... Now the quality of the food, is ridiculously SALTY! I thought it was just me, but others agreed. And it's not an isolated incident. Olive Garden please stop being so SALTY. Now let's talk about the GHETTO factor. I have visited 4 Olive Gardens here. And they are all Ghetto as well as Salty. In the PembrokePines local which rates #1 in Ghettoness, feels more like a stepping into a Chuckee Cheese. It's filled with people who are belching, or being over excessively and obnoxiously loud... Children running up and down, hitting patrons with balloons. I can compare an evening out at OG to a nightmare plane ride. Crying, screaming children. Servers that never get to you, make you wait forever for service. The best thing that happened to me there, was when a wine glass fell from the ledge next to me that was slightly above me. A shard of glass almost hit my eye, the glass broke all in our food. And the manager and server didn't want to do anything about it. Can you say law suit? I forgot to mention one of the cute screaming kids and their balloons ,were the reason the wine glass fell in the first place. Same exact scenario w/o the broken glass at the Plantation location. So if you to are disappointed in OG, and don't know where to go to find good Italian Food, go to CARRABBA'S in Plantation you'll love it.! more

Best Italian Restaurant in Town! 11/6/2008

My family and I, as well as business associates have had both lunch and dinner at this location for many years. Probably been there 200 times and have never once been disapppointed. The portions are plentiful, tasty, and the best Italian food I've eaten out. Lasagna and Chicken Parmigiana are great traditional dishes, again healthy portions and tasty sauce - not bitter or super spicey. However, my favorite is the Seafood Alfredo which is loaded with shimps and scallops. Absolutley delicious! Pros: They can't get better! Cons: None, nada, except on holidays they have long lines, but, worth it. more

Avoid it at all costs 6/11/2008

I typed in a search for "upscale Plantation restaurants" and this i sone that popped up. I have eaten there. It is not upscale, and it's food is as far from genuine Italian as any can be. It's formula food, faux-Italian, created by people who probably have never eaten GOOD and real Italian food. I have given the chain too many chances, both here and in New Jersey; I have been served frozen entrees which were not properly heated, salads which contain iceberg lettuce (never served in Italy), underspiced and underseasoned food. It really is awful. Pros: horrible food Cons: none that I can think of more

Relaxing Enjoyable Place 12/13/2003

Great relaxing atmosphere. Nice view of the fountain & gardens. VERY resonably priced. Beware of lip prints on the wine glasses! They won't give you an ice tea spoon, I always have to bring my own. Pros: Price, Atmosphere, Food Cons: Dirty Wine Glasses, Long walk to the door more
