This restaurant is great! They make their own beer and root beer! I am not one to drink beer but I will tell you the root beer is amazing (and I am not even a major fan of root beer!) The food is great and not to highly priced! As an appetizer or even for some people a meal, I recommend the nachos! They are great! Olde Peninsula has a clean nice atmosphere. If you are there earlier in the day it is less crowded however it does get fuller and noisier towards night! Both ways are great atmospheres it just depends what you are looking for! more

Fun and reasonable 12/21/2005

This restaurant has a varied and reasonable menu. The beer is brewed on premises, but we do not drink. However, we greatly look forward to their home made root beer. The best time to go is on the late afternoon or on week day nights. It does fill up wil college students on the weekends. The dessert menu is limited, but delicious. more

Pot Roast at a bar?!?!?! 8/26/2005

I am fairly new to the area but have been to Olde Peninsula Brewpub a number of times. I have always been pleased with the food and the service. The last time we went there I decided to try the pot roast. It was AMAZING! I can't wait to go back and have it again. It was a great price and I had enough left overs for 2 lunches. more

With a great selection of beer how can you go wrong. I love the location of the Old Peninsula Brew Pub. It’s perfectly centered in downtown Kalamazoo, but easy to get to with ample nearby parking. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to serving beverages, and the food was very good as well. more

A great place to eat! 8/6/2005

This is a great place to eat downtown Kalamzoo for a casual lunch or deleicious dinner. The resturant is also a brew pub and features selected homebrewed beer throught the year. The food is resonably priced and the menu has something for everyone from appitizers to incredible desserts. The resurant itself has a quiet casual feel that is pefect for both familiies and friends out on the town for dinner. more
