AMAZING food! great little get away. 1/7/2009

We went here for our anniversary in August. The food was AMAZING... SO good. I had the Halibut (seasonal) and it was delicious. The service was first class all the way around. There is great shopping in the area as well. The room we stayed in was nice, quaint, but nice. reasonably priced and a great get away. I would recommend this place to anyone! more

Local Favorite 5/12/2004

Tucked away in the Old Mount Pleasant Village, this gem truly defines excellent customer service and quality food. The Tavern seems like a local favorite, filled with those who seem to just walk over, watch a game, have a beer and order great food. A new favorite in Mount Pleasant! What a treat! 3/9/2004

We ate dinner here the other night and wow! What a treat! The food and service were excellent, and the atmosphere made us feel right at home. The bar was really nice and our bartender Al (?) was very helpful. We also learned that there is a darling B&B above the restaurant, which we will definitely take advantage of the next time we're in town! Pros: Easy Parking, Good Value, Great Food/Service more
