Old Reliable Pest Control has been really great. They helped us take care of an on-going ant problem that was going out of control. They were very diligent in keeping in touch with us and were very thorough with communication in regards to our appointments and billing. We've had two appointments with them in the last 6 months and there haven't been any ant problems ever since. They were always very courteous and professional. Because I work in real estate, I already referred their services to a few of my clients. Highly recommended. more

I found myself with a really bad gopher problem, so I called Old Reliable Pest Control. Because I had a limited budget, I called several other places before I called Old Reliable. Old Reliable had the best price, so I thought I would give them a try. They came out and treated the holes for me. Then the gentleman explained that if I continued to have problems and got new holes, anything along those lines, to just give them a call and they'd come back. He said they were happy to continue to treat the problem until it was resolved. It turned out to be a lot worse than the initial four holes I called them for, as I continued to find new holes. Every time I called Old Reliable it was, "Oh, no problem! We'll be right there!" They came time and time again to treat the problem until it was resolved without charging me beyond the first treatment. I don't think they knew what they were getting into! I was really impressed with how they went out of their way to resolve the issue for me. It took four or five months to get it resolved, and I've had two months without a sign of anything. Just knowing that all I have to do is give them a call is really nice. It's not often you get that quality of service anymore, so when I do get it, I really appreciate it. I would definitely call them again if I had a problem! They have outstanding customer service! more

My mother had a pretty bad cricket problem at her house in Moorpark . The two guys that came out made her laugh and smile and basically made her day! She still talks about them! LOL! Nevermind the crickets! more

We called Old Reliable Pest Control for squirrels in our attic. They answered the phone immediately and were able to send someone quickly. They were able to successfully get the squirrels out without harming them and also fixed the screen while they were up there. more

I called Old Reliable Pest Control and they came quickly. They knocked down all the spider webs. It was an outstanding job. more

Unfortunately, Old Reliable Pest Control did not get rid of the problem that I had. We had gophers and they attempted to get rid of them but had to come back several times. I was charged each time. Although it was relatively inexpensive, they were out here six times and were never successful. Sometimes its difficult for customers to understand that the strychnine alkaloid does kill gophers, however the runways are still under your yard and will be used by new gophers. Old Reliable Pest Control does service at my mother-in-law's mobile home. They're efficient and timely. They do the work quarterly and are very reliable. Often times, she doesn't even need to be at home when they come and do the servicing. She's happy she doesn't have any more bug problems. It's been a satisfying experience for her. I like Mike. He used to be my neighbor and he went over to work at Old Reliable Pest Control. I see him when he comes by. He's nice. It's been over decade since we've been using their services. I'm never bothered with any bugs. more

Old Reliable Pest Control sprays every two months. If I ever have a problem, they come right back and correct it. They basically just spray the outside, but I have had them do the garage and the inside once. Keeping them outside means they don't get inside very often. I've been with Old Reliable for maybe 25 years, so a long, long time. I've just been very satisfied with them. My father worked for a different pest control company and keeps trying to get me to switch to them, but I won't. more

I had a family of raccoon residing inside of my living-room wall; having climbed down through a pillar on the outside of my home. YUCK! They were actually trying ti break through the wall. The guys came out (2 friendly fellas with the greatest sense of humor.) They knew I was scared to death of these mean little rascals crawling into my house through the wall; but they kept me calm and laughing as they casually worked away. Not only did they remove the carcass of the dead mother (that my son killed the night before)... they treating the area of entry with a predator scent, they looked inside of the wall from inside and going outside to make sure that the babies had left and then they treated the scent left inside of the wall. They left me a guarantee to come back immediately if I heard one peep from inside of that wall. I am TOTALLY confident that if I call those Old Reliable fellows back, it WILL NOT be a raccoon issue. Ive lived in the Newbury Park area for 12 years, and for the first time ever I have gophers. I tried traps to no avail and decided to get some quotes, hoping it would be an affordable option, since my whole beautifully landscaped yard is getting ruined. I picked them for the affordable price and they handled my gopher problems within a few weeks and for less than 100 bucks. Didn't have to go onto a monthly service plan either. 5 stars more

I have a severe rodent problem they have been helping me with. I've been with them for over half a year now. I rent a place and my landlord wasn't doing anything about the problem. Before using Old Reliable I was catching multiple rats daily. They are not able to do everything they need to because I am waiting on my landlord to take care of some things, but they are making my place livable while I battle with the landlord. more

I have always had my husband take care of any critters hat somehow make there way inside the house. Now that he is unable to do this for me I had to figure out how to fit this into our budget. Luckily I found this company who I chose for the fact that they would come on a one time bases. The man came last week to ""evict"" the raccoons that decided to move in under the house. After I got to talking with him about how bad the bugs are this year in my yard he said he will take care of everything inside and out on a bi-monthly basis. Old Reliable Pest Control shows up and takes care of stuff so I don't have to worry about it. Once and a while I have to call and remind them about something. I had a problem with their billing system but when I told them about it they were responsive. I have used them for general bug control since 2007 for bug abatement. more

This was my first time using Old Reliable Pest Control. They were very responsive and provide very good service. more

I called Old Reliable Pest Control to help with the rat problem in my property. They ended up setting three stations, with feeding boxes, throughout the house. The boxes did nothing to lessen the problem. It also did not help that their staff did not bother to check my kitchen cabinets or look underneath the sink, in my cabinets, or anywhere else, to see where the rats were coming from. I ended up just having the boxes pulled and hiring another pest control company to take care of the problem. I am extremely disappointed in the gentleman who came out. He seemed knowledgeable but he was just not through. The other company that came out checked different areas in the house and found that the rats had broken through the wood underneath my kitchen sink. I have spent $3000 having everything cleaned out. In addition, when Old Reliable came to collect their boxes, they took all three but only documented having taken two. They ended up accusing my gardener of taking one of their boxes and were charging me a $75 fee to replace it. It was just an unsatisfactory experience. Called on a Friday afternoon after noticing rat poop in our garage and house, and they sent someone out within 2 hours. Very nice, informative, and great pricing. more
