Old Kentucky Chocolates

The chocolate covered grapes are "the Best!!" It is a great place to get a gift for a friend. They also have sugar free chocolates that taste just a good as the regular! Go and see for your self! more

I've had REALLY good chocolate, (and I'm sure the locals won't like this), but this isn't it. They make a couple items which are OK - like the gold wrapped hazelnut chocolate), but most of it isn't the best quality and the flavor tends towards either flat or in some cases too sweet. Sorry, but I've tried this place twice now (with about 20 or so different kinds of their chocolates) and it makes me long for Vermont. more

They make the best bourbon balls I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy! Their store has a huge selection of chocolates, candies, and gifts...and free samples! The ladies who work here are friendly and helpful. The prices are a little on the high side, though. The chocolate strawberries they offer in February are divine, but downright expensive. Their chocolate fruit cremes were too sugary for my liking when we tried them once, but that is a matter of personal preference. If you are looking for something for a special occasion, you won't be disappointed. more

I stop here EVERY time I'm in town. Samples, need I say more! I got my son's easter bunny here and it didn't survive the long trip home, we devoured it! This is a great place to get gifts for those that don't need another "thing" in their house. Its yummy and they have sugar free treats as well. The staff is extremely helpful too! more

This candy shop has four Lexington locations: Civic Center Shops, Landsdowne Shoppes, Turfland Mall, and the original store on Southland Drive. All have free samples next to the register. They specialize in bourbon chocolates or truffles and these make a great gift to or from Kentuckians. They also carry, in season, chocolate covered strawberries, blueberries, grapes, and more that are out of this world. Each store also has a nice selection of gifts for special occasions including gift baskets, Kentucky items, stuffed animals, and seasonal merchandise. Individually wrapped chocolates are also available for a wide variety of occasions. Southland Drive is by far the largest of the stores, but they all offer a good selection. Prices are a little steep, as you might expect, but quality is first rate. Check out the sale section for half off candy nearing it's expiration date. What can I say about a store that sells chocolate!! Incredible selection of chocolate candy for baby showers, birthdays, and other holidays. Lots of cute individual wrapped chocolates. the best part is that they offer samples of some of their goodies!! more
