Beware, don't fulfill promise 8/15/2011

Hire them for a small job and they did a good job. So I decided to reuse them to put pavers in the backyard. This is when all the trouble start. Will not show up on day I expected them. I will take a day off and they will not show up. No phone call or they will not pick up the call. Wasted day. Then they will unexpectedly show up one day. Again no advance notice. They took out the old concrete and left them pile up on the driveway for a week. Took forever to finish the job and it is subpar. He also left a pile of dirt on my dirt on my lawn and promised to pick them out after I pay in full. They never show up again. I have to hire someone else to clean up his mess. Mr. Abbas is nice and promise the world when he wants money from you. Once he got your money you will hardly see him again! more

they are excellent 5/25/2011

thses guys are excelent. they are expert in work. i had very good experince working with them. they done, paint, therocot, sheet rock, tiles, etc, i am so happy working with ok construction . Price is resonable but work is excellent. now my house looks very good. they got 4 job during working my home. people love their work. every day when they finish work. they clean job site and keep tools at safe place. becasue working with them . now i have very good relationship with ok construction. they are very polite and good nature people. A Construction Company with a Heart of Gold 5/10/2011

Ok Construction was recommended by Service Magic and I was a little skeptical about using a company I knew nothing of. However, I'm glad to say Mr. Abbas put my mind at ease about the work and the payment. I had interlock pavers done in my backyard and the work was laborous and strenuous because they had to go thru my home in order to get to the backyard. Mr. Abbas and his crew finished in 4 days and the work looks marvelous..I'm sooooo happy with his work that I'm already planning for my next job...Mr. Abbas is so insightful and also points things out you would not have thought about...Thank you Ok Construction and Mr. Abbas for a job well done...and keep up the great work...and excellent customer service...you will go far ... more

ok construction company did great job for paint in my office and appartment. they also installed new sheet rock in my office . i rcommend them for any construction projetc.. even next week they are going to start paint job in my sister home. they just do paint and sheet rock .. thanks for nice job in my office and home. more

OK Construction Recommended by this Professional Engineer 3/14/2011

My brick porch and steps were renovated using concrete, limestone and brick. Abbas takes excellent pride in workmanship and is very responsive to doing follow up work. I am so satisfied that we will do another project this Spring. I am a structural engineer that understands construction and Abbas exceeded expectations. more

Thank you for the outstanding service and craftsmanship. OK Construction Company did great job. They are available for any of your question anytime. They will try their best to go with your budget. “Abbas” took me to the Material store. He showed me material sample and explain me the difference between material price and durability. Be honest with you. I saved some money working with OK construction company. I got quite from another companies. But their price was much higher then OK Construction Company. We are extremely satisfied & impressed by their entire staff. The friendliness and professionalism was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be referring your company to others. H & H : Honest and Hardworking Team - Great Prices. 10/18/2010

Intregity,Honestyand standing behind your services are very important. Abass' company has all these quailities. He did an excellent job of waterproofing my front coutyard, steps, and back yard area. It was clear, He was not trying to make a dollar off of me, He even took time to explain other areas of material and the how to's that he was not even working on. And told me how I could do it myself. Arrived on time, finished on time. Had the best bidding price, highly recommended. I will definitely be using him again for areas he can service and plan to include him in my budgeted maintainence plan. - saves me money in the future. And he's a nice god. Definitely someone you want on your team. Glad I found him !!!!!!! more

good job, hardworking and honest worker 10/15/2010

They did great job at my home.i am 100% satisfied with job. they did brick pointing all around my home. before , i was getting water coming inside my home through wall. it was raining yesterday night. i inspected my home and basement. i didn't see any kind of water coming inside my home. they also fixed my front porch and steps. even Abbas took me to the building material store. he showed me few sample of bricks and garnid stone. they are very flexible. they treat us as a family member. i am so happy working with OK construction company. i highly recommend them for any kind of construction project. Hi,OK-construction company did an excellent job of stucco and brick work for my 3 houses in valley stream longisland and ROOF work in my office in bayridge,Brooklyn. The job was done before the specified time and price given was such a fair one. it was nice having these guys worked for me nicely and professionaly .Good luck with your future projects." "They are wonderful. They did a great job in putting pavers and walls in our backyard. It looks ten times better than before. The best thing about these guys is that they are very responsible. If you are not satisfied with anything, they will come back and fix everything until you are totally happy. I will definitely hire them again and recommend them to other people. Best Contractor i have ever seen in my life. 4/28/2010

"Abbas at OK Construction contacted me quickly after my initial inquiry to Servicemagic. He answered all of my questions and came over to give me an estimate promptly. All of his licensing and insurance was in order and the job was well done and completed in one day. I will use him for other projects in the future. Never Ever use these guys if you value your time and money! 9/20/2009

These guys don't care about customers at all. They came to me for an estimate then told me they will show next weekend. I have spent weekend waiting for them, the same happened next weekend. Nobody bothered to return my calls. If you value your time, please avoid them at all cost. Spent your money with some contractor who wants to do the job but not with OK Construction which if even do the work, will not show if you have problems with their job after money is paid. Cons: Never showed up for work... more

Not so "OK" 9/6/2009

"OK Construction Corp." This business should go down for false advertising. Their service is far from "OK", and their "construction" is done with little knowledge of building anything! We had painting, pointing and roofing done. The paint is beginning to rust already. Pointing was done in a horrific manner. Very messy job. We also had to tell the "workers" to redo the job a few times. Not to mention they seemed to have no knowledge of a clock either. We have called countless times, and still no reply. When they do not show up, they do not call ahead of time to inform us. We end up waiting all day. Not to mention, our house has been left incomplete. Hopefully this review will help this OK corp to become a great one. Pros: They have their own tools. They don't drink on the job. Cons: read, and you will learn. Unreliable more
