I love Job Lot. Sometimes I get mad because the loss leaders advertised are already "sold out" even though you get there within hours of opening (or maybe they only have the shirt in orange). But overall, you can find some good bargains -- excellent for gloves, hats, socks, some specialty food items (chocolate, teas, random stuff, and some excellent close out cereal and things like that). Junky but fun books for the kids. We've had really good luck with pajamas and lounge type clothing. It's good for miscellaneous tool type items (paint brushes, etc.). They have lots of toys. Sometimes you can find decent household items (got a nice down pillow recently). We always manage to leave there with a pretty full cart. Right next door to the new Goodwill, so check that out, too. Cosmetics, toiletries, and cleaning products are not a good value here.
