I had an issue with a new beetle (power steering issue) called them up and asked for advice was told many things to try to fix the issue. They help and advised many things to try to fix on my own with out charge and extremely knowledgeable and was able to find issue that had to be fixed by replacing part .. Was given estimate and was treated very good and was keep informed about all issues more

Impressed with the work...and the staff 4/14/2010

The guys at O'brien are very in the know when it comes to the vehicles they work on. I own a Land Rover and they seem to be experts about all things Rover. They gave me a good estimate, and were sure to check with me before doing any major work. They even gave me a ride to work when I dropped off the car. Plus, being a 20 something, I didn't feel creeped out by the guys that helped me. I also didn't feel ripped off when I got the bill because they kept me informed. Sounds like that last guy doesn't really know how to "communicate" with car guys. I had everything explained to me in detail and totally understood the difference between the $139 oil change and a $40 oil change. Some things are worth the investment to keep your car going strong long term. Totally recommend O'brien to anyone who wants a trustworthy shop. Pros: Knowledgeable staff, kept me informed, friendly people! Cons: None that I noticed... more

Very underwhelming experience 1/5/2009

Apparently $139.99 is their standard price for a synthetic oil change. (My naive friend paid this for an oil change not knowing that most oil changes average around $40). In our experience they made guarantees for which they did not stay accountable (guaranteed no oil leaks, two weeks later the vehicle is pouring out oil). Somehow they are capable of changing oil filters without changing the oil... I would NOT endorse this business to anyone who might consider using them. Pros: N/A Cons: Overcharged, Did not stand by workmanship. more
