Oakwood Village

Oakwood village is the worst experience I have ever had! We still live here and are currently looking for a home and it cannot come soon enough! Management is absolutely horrible. They have called my husband's work numerous times trying to get him fired. They towed our car out of our driveway with NO warning, no sticker nothing. We had to call the cops and are suing them. My husband leaves for work at 3 am and they called the police and said we must be dealing drugs over here because people are coming at all hours of the night, and it's my husband! We are peaceful people and keep to ourselves and they have a vendetta against us because they are mad at his company whom they have a contract with. Please save yourself the misery and keep looking! more

I lived in this park about 10 years ago. It was the worst experience I ever had. The plumbing in the park was so bad, they would turn off everyones water if one trailer had an issue. Also I told management there was a peeper in the park. He would peek in mine, and my neighbors windows. They already knew of the issue, and felt it should not be addressed. I recently went back to see the park and the new highway area. The place has really fell behind. It was once at least sort of a nice park, now it looks really rundown with empty lots. I thank God everyday that I sold my trailer and moved out.... Beware.. don't move there more

Paying $390+ for rent of a postage stamped size lot, next to the highway is bad enough. Add to it that the park is poorly maintained, dirty and that the manager is never available and you have a recipe for disaster. I've been trying to sell my home for 2 years and everytime that someone goes to management to get approved, the park undersells me with one of their own homes. Cons: management unfriendly and unhelpful, too expensive more
