Oakwood Hills Animal Hospital

Oakwood Hills Animal Hospital is a great vet clinic. The doctors are very skilled in diagnosing and treating diseases in both cats and dogs. They collaborate with and make referrals to specialists when needed. The staff are very caring and compassionate. I have taken pets to multiple vet clinics in Madison, WI and in Eau Claire, WI and this is by far the best clinic I have been to. I love my pets very much and I trust Dr. Bohacek and OHAH to provide the best care for them. more

Overall I have not been all that impressed with Oakwood Hills Animal Hospital. My cat has been here three times now with the same symptoms. This last time I ended up bringing him to another vet two days after being at Oakwood only to find out that the Dr. that he was seeing at Oakwood was misdiagnosing his illness all together. \r \r Another thing I discovered by going to another vet is Oakwood is insanely indulgent with their fee?s. They were four times higher than the new vet I am now seeing and the new vet seems to be much more intelligent, actually treating my cat and making him better. \r \r I do not see myself returning to this place, they seemed to be more concerned with your money than actually caring for my pet. \r \r I do not recommend this vet. more

We recently had to put our wonderful son (cat) to sleep. He had a blood clot in his legs which caused heart problems also. We were new to Eau Claire and it was on a week-end and Dr. Landorf didn't think twice about coming in immediately on a Saturday night to help us in our emergency. He was wonderful with our Charlie and with us also. He helped us all through the traumatic experience. He even called us on Monday to talk to us and answer any other questions we had. I don't know what we would have done with out him. Our thanks and trust will always be there. I wouldn't think twice about having Dr. Landorf as our vet. for any pet! more

My wife and I did NOT like customer service(s) we recieved at Oakwood Hills Animal Hospital. Once Dr. Schumacher saw we weren't going to authorize all the costly tests she suggested for our cat, her demeanor/attitude toward us quickly cooled.\r The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing there. Communication is poor at best; nobody will give you a straight answer. Mistakes abound for which nobody takes responsibility, other than to blame the owner. If you love your pet and don?t own a money tree to keep up with their exorbitant prices stay away! more

Not that impressed. Our older dog had quite a few issues and we felt that Dr. Schumacher saw an opportunity for cashflow. Just my two cents worth but maybe I'm bitter. Three weeks after seeing her we had to put our best friend to sleep. Tis a sad day.\r \r Maybe 2 1/2 stars more

Our cats are always cared for so well by the folks at Oakwood Hills. The boarding prices can add up quick, but the service and friendly staff makes the price tag worth it. We've always been satisfied with the health care our cats have received there as well. Dodi is fantastic there as is every vet we've been paired with. more

Oakwwd hills animal hospital is a very trustworthy place to have your animals cared for. They have great vets and technicians who geuinely care for the animals. Their prices are a little high, but the service is worth the little extra. more
