O'Sullivan's On The Lake Motel

My family booked a room because this hotel allowed pets and we were stopping in Lake George on short notice. The floors in our room were dirty and, I discovered the next morning (we had checked in late in the evening) the shower was covered in mildew and tiles were falling off the wall. When I complained, the manager rudely told me that since I had a child and pet I should not expect to get a good room. Rather than either concede the room was in poor condition and issue a refund (or not), the manager continued to insist that there was nothing really wrong with the room and we were at fault for not complaining sooner. The room was in such bad shape, it should not have been rented at all EVER. I will not be returning to O'Sullivan's and would probably skip Lake George altogether if this was the only hotel with vacancy. Pros: Allows Pets Cons: Not really clean or truly pet friendly more

We stayed here over labor day weekend in 2008 and actually booked it only 1 week before. We stayed in the cottage (~120$ a nite) and enjoyed the stay for the most part.\r Our pet was able to roam around the property safely, and the free row boat and beach area was very nice. Also it was right next to great places to eat and very close to where you can go rent motor boats or go para sailing. The room it self was an ok size but not very well kept. Towels were horrible.. but the fridge and microwave were nice to have in the room\r Pros: Great location and free row boats and great for pets Cons: not so clean and bathrooms are pretty gross more
