Dr. jekyl 2/5/2010

Thought Dr. O'Donnell was very rude seems as if he treats his staff with disrespect as well!! The girls in the back who assist the doctor are very pleasant and nice girls, however I thought some of the people at the check in desk were very rude, calling me up 3 or 4 times for information! more

Okay doctor, not impressed with his staff 12/16/2009

The staff, particularly on the phone, seems rude. When I was in the office for an appointment in 12/09, they charged me $15.95. I paid for it with my flex spending account debit card, thinking that it was a copay but thinking that the amount was strange--I didn't receive any products. The receipt wasn't specific and was declined by the flex spending administrators. Been trying for the better part of a year now to get an itemized receipt for that charge. It's hard to get past the recording when you call the office, and when you do, the woman on the phone isn't very nice or helpful. I keep getting put through to someone's voice mail. I get the impression that they don't know what they charged me that money for either. All I have received is a duplicate of the non-specific receipt. Be wary of what you're paying for when you visit the office. I may have to pay $15.95 back to my flex spending account before they'll unfreeze my card thanks to this office visit. Pros: Doctor is knowledgable and in a good location Cons: Don't like the people much more

One of the best doctors in the Tri-Cities 1/24/2009

Yes, there can be long waits, but they come about for two main reasons: Dr. O'Donnell is one of the best doctors around here, so he has lots of patients. Second, he tries to give personal attention to each patient which can put him behind. Yes, he does often seem to be in a hurry, but I have never found him unwilling to listen to any questions I might have. Dr. O'Donnell is extremely well-qualified. He is certainly the best dermatologist I have ever seen, and I've seen a lot of them. My advice is to get an early morning appointment. The wait gets longer as the day goes on. Otherwise, bring a book and wait. It's well worth it. And the waiting room is comfortable enough. Pros: An outstanding well-qualified physician Cons: Yes, the waits can be long, but it's worth it. more

Horrible customer service! 10/14/2008

Every time that I have gone to Dr. O'Donnel's office, even with an appointment time, there is always an hour to an hour and a half wait. Today I waited for a little over an hour and a half from my appointment time and when I finally did get into a room, he checked my problem out and left. He was in there a grand total of two minutes, tops, and he still charged me my co-pay. Needless to say, Dr. O'Donnel will not be receiving any more of my business.\r The women who work there are also very unprofessional and rude. I stood waiting outside the glass window for well over 5 minutes before the lady at the front desk stopped talking to the other girls about who was wearing what and ""helped"" me.\r Unless you want to cancel all your plans for the afternoon and sit in a room with sick people for 2 hours, I don't recommend this place at all. Pros: Dr. O'Donnel is really nice, but seems like he is always in a rush to get out. He doesn't want to hear what you have to say. Cons: The waiting room time is despicable, and the staff is rude. more
