O'Brien Nissan

This place is now called Nissan of Hawthorne... Had a really good experience there and would recommend it .. Much better than going to highway stores I went to... It's Been there a long time and drive by it a lot. They got very close to the price I wanted and after research knew it was a good price. My cousin bought his car there and recommended the place. This is by far the WORST experience we have ever had buying a car. Not only were the entire staff deceiving with their offer, they did a complete bait and switch. This is the first of many reviews I will post about this dealership. The dealership was desperate to sell a car this day. They had not had a customer in 2 hours and the sales people were playing card games and knitting. We thought they would be honest in giving us a good deal. Unfortunately, weeks later we get a letter from Nissan saying that we still owe on our trade in. This was not in any of the paperwork and NOT discussed AT ALL. We have already spread the word about this dealership to our community centers, town hall, and our weekly social groups. Do not trust this dealership, you will be paying for it later....or will be hiring an attorney. more

There is an entire list of reasons I can give from them waiting until our temporary plates expired before sending us a new one (this was already a major complaint before they changed owners which they can't seem to handle still. Oh, and you know what they told us to do? which was ILLEGAL... take a MARKER and change the date on the temp paper!!!! rightttt. Good job guys. ) to being told that the car had already had a full tune up (we took it to the dealer near us bc the brakes were squeaking... a week after we bought it and were told there were only millimeters left on the brake pads... millimeters!! And the dealer said NOTHING had been done. Even the fluids were down!) to them never returning our calls regarding ANYthing... to them sending us a random bill for sales tax almost 2 months later with no return address or phone number... This was our first big car purchase and needless to say they completely soured the entire experience and I would never go back there or recommend ANYone going here unless you want to be taken advantage of. more
