I worked for NuRock for 3 years. I started as a leasing agent and then after learning the ropes from the manager at my property and showed I could lease well I got offered a promotion to Leasing Manager. I jumped at the opportunity and started to train my leasing team to close at least 50% of our leads. After about 9 months on the job as a Leasing Manager we were doing so well that our property was on a wait list I was asked to come eat lunch at the corporate offices and after eating Ms. Lively had me go into a meeting with her and the owners and I was offered the assistant manager’s job at my community, they also told me this was temporary so I could get to know the role of being a property manager because if I continue to do well at my new position they were thinking about me being the Property Manager. I had some family issues that required me to leave NuRock and move back to Connecticut to take care of my mother but I have still not found a job where I have had that much fun and learned so much. I would definitely recommend NuRock Companies to anyone looking for a great job in the real estate business with ample opportunity for promotion. They seem like they are always looking for people that are personable and ready to get the job done. more

Eagles run(Sugar Creek) used to be an alright place to stay. Yes, it is situated in a not so great neighborhood, but its affordable and on the bus line. I just have to say, I never am one to write reviews on anything, but this particular situation has me wondering..Do they pay their employees enough? The reasoning behind this question is that I work the City of Atlanta, and my niece just applied and obtained occupancy at these apts. Her leasing agent Stephanie told her she would approve her application if my niece sold her food stamps to her. Now, this is very very unprofessional. My niece is a mother who is struggling to make her own ends meet. I help her from time to time. So for this lady representing a corporation, to even lower her self to ask for government funded monies in exchange for residency is horrible. I will be looking further into this and see what else can be done. A crying shame a consultant would do such a thing. Shame on you Stephanie!!! more

Gained a great deal of knowledge working with them as a family. 10/8/2014

I adored my co-workers and gained a great deal of knowledge working with them as a family. We leased many apartments and were always improving our resident retention efforts by throwing fun parties and big events to let them know we care about them. Obviously leasing apartments it a concern but maintaining relationships with our residents is right on up there. more

NuRock provides a challenging and rewarding workplace where your skills are valued and you are given the opportunity to grow with the company. If you are results driven and work hard, you will succeed. If you are looking for a company to “blend in” and fly under the radar, then this won’t be the place for you. Like many small companies, everyone pitches in when and where necessary. “That is not my job” does not fly here. more
