Having lived much of my life overweight and lazy, my 30th birthday was a time to change all that. I started walking and lost as much weight as one can, but there comes a point when you need to start doing more and not having any experience you don't know where to start. I didn't want to go to one of the large, impersonal chains but I also didn't think I could afford a personal trainer. NRG Fitness not only met my personal requirements (small, private to semi private - sometimes I join their group workouts) but they fit my budget. ""You get what you pay for"" is a common phrase, but I can honestly say that I have gotten WAY more than I would have ever expected.\r

I've worked out with all of their trainers on a one to one basis for almost 5 years and have experienced amazing improvement not just in my appearance but overall health. I had never been much for exercise and am still astounded when I find myself not just looking forward to going into the studio, but scheduling my time to make sure I don't miss any appointments. Having lost nearly 80lbs and kept it off for the past 6 years, I give a lot of credit to the encouragement and expectations from the owners and employees of NRG Fitness. My doctor says whatever I am doing, keep it up! \r

Not only are the trainers and owners great people to work with but the clientele are happy to be there, which makes the workout even better. I can't imagine getting the same physical and emotional benefit from one of the large, cattle call gyms nor have I found another smaller studio setting gym with the same amount of sincere interest in my health. Brian and Rene inspire you to give 100% and they give it right back.\r
