I took my car here to get a VT state inspection. Noyes thought my vehicle needed a tune-up (which it did). I asked for a quote, which turned out to be $100 more than the dealer....

Noyes is the Best 10/22/2011

If you are complaining, you probably didn't take the time to let them know that you are unhappy or are one of those people who think you can run a car for free...\r Like many others that I know, I am a long term customer of Noyes and would not go anywhere else. Too many of us never take the time to let the public know when we are totally satisfied with a business. more

SCAM & INCOMPETENCE 12/9/2010

NOYES IS AN ABSOLUTE SHAM. Not sure what happened over there. Used to be reputable and helpful. New faces and names are running at best a shady operation. Can't do a front end alignment to save their life. Mechanic told me I needed new brakes as my pads only had 20% of life left ~ I bought new pads myself because they tried to scalp me on the parts. When I looked at the old pads an new ones I had about 90% of pad life left. I confronted them and they just shrugged hteir shoulders at me. twice I've gone in under the new management - Twice they told me I had blown shocks ~ on both occaisions the shocks they identified were no more than a month old. THE KING OF ALL SCREW-UPS! : I bought tires that needed to be put on the wheel a certain way. There are arrows and clues all over the tire ~ They put the tires on Backward. I really hope they go belly-up so somebody legit can run that space in Burlington more

Worst there is 7/26/2010

Do not go here! These are the shadiest, most dishonest mechanics out there. I watched them do a twenty minute job and they tried to charge me for 1.5 hours of labor. They do not post their rates or honor their quotes. They were rude, disgusting losers who didn't even try to hide the fact they were screwing me. In fact, they showed so much angst when I confronted them that I had to call the police to help me retrieve my car, and had to file a complaint with the attorney general. They are also known for "tie rod" issues that I have been told they create themselves Stay away at all cost. more

Keep you knowledgeable on the condition of your car. Fair and Honest 9/13/2009

I have been a long term customer of Noyes Auto. They use a free safety check procedure to let you know the condition of your car so that you can make wise decisions on whether to keep it, or budget for repairs in the future. The purpose is not to "rip you off" as indicated in one of these other reviews. The items on that list may not need immediate attention but should be considered when making future decisions on your car. They have always been fair and honest with me. more

THEY WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF. DO NOT GO HERE. 1/22/2009

Don't go to these people. THEY ARE DISHONEST. I have a BMW 3-series and went in to get a quote for my brakes. They said I needed new rotors (which was true) but that I also pretty much needed a new front ball joints and tie rod (cost = $1200) and a new fuel filter (cost = $250). I took it to Automaster, they had TWO mechanics look at the car and could not find one single thing wrong with the suspension/ball joints/tie rod/fuel filter/etc. Go figure. more

Inflated charges, shady dealings 3/12/2008

I had an inspection done on my car and it failed. Ok, no problem. I go to check out and besides the charge for the inspection, there's a charge for the sticker (I didn't get a sticker, it failed inspection) and for shop supplies (which they used none of). When I asked about the sticker, the answer was "It's just part of the inspection." When I reminded him I didn't get a sticker, he shrugged. Asked about the shop supplies, he pointed to the list of things the invoice said it covered. When I asked which of them they used, he said none, it was for putting the car on the lift, which wasn't listed. So every car gets an extra charge on top of labor for lift usage? Nickle and dime.\r While I was there, they tried over and over to convince a woman who just wanted to buy a brakelight bulb that the only way to find out which bulb she needed was to charge her for labor to take the assembly apart. When she refused, they all of the sudden remembered they had that information available with more

My experience at Noyes Auto. 4/28/2007

My car has been serviced by Noyes Auto for the last 6 or 7 years. They have done an excellent job every time I brought my car in for service. They haven't tried to put one over on me because I'm a woman. They let me know if there any future concerns that need to be taken care of so that I am driving a safe vehicle. Safety comes first to me, such as brakes, steering, oil changes(they notified me when its due) also inspections. I don't know of any other Automotive place that does that. My life gets pretty hectic at times and these things just aren't at the top of my memory list. I would recommend them to anyone. And the fact that they have shuttle service makes my life so much easier. I hate waiting around a service center. more

noyes made my day 4/5/2007

I had a flat tire on my way into work and Noyes took me in right off and had it fixed really quick. They treated me with respect and took really good care of me, and the price was cheap.I'm changing over to noyes for all my automotive needs. more

Inflated service quote 7/31/2006

I took my car here to get a VT state inspection. Noyes thought my vehicle needed a tune-up (which it did). I asked for a quote, which turned out to be $100 more than the dealer. When I asked them why so high, they quickly dropped it by $30, but to me, I already felt like they tried to rip me off.\r I can't say anything about their tire services. PROS: Fairly fast work if you make an appointment. CONS: Inflated quote. more
