could anyone please tell me if there is an organization there to help families with a child on life support in the icu ...the child has leukemia and is not responsive, trying to get some food to the family or find out what is around the hospital, I know mcdonalds is in the hosp but they are there 24/7 will not leave his side trying to help them by getting food to his mom and dad more

I am actually an RN in the NICU at Kosair Children's Hospital. I love where I work and who I work with. I would absolutely want people taking care of my child who LOVE what they do. It is obvious when you walk through the doors that the staff has a passion for children. Kosair is a place of great teamwork, where family is part of the team in making decisions for the child. more

Very Caring & Professional 8/17/2005

The staff & Doctors at Norton are very caring! There is no other hospital in the region I would go to if the decision was my own, I have had surgery there as well as many tests performed, x-rays & ER visits without a single regret! The waiting time is only long if you are in the ER but I feel that is any hospital these days! They have always taken wonderful care of myself & my family! more

Took Care Of My Little Cousin 8/1/2005

My little cousin was delievered there and she is beautiful. She was 7oz 19in long. She was treated very good there. They took real good care of the mother to. more
