I have been in and out of hospitals and doctors office since I was 6yrs old. I've learned what it means to 'connect' with a doctor and how important it is to find one that I could be comfortable with and trust in. I was referred to Dr. Volford by a doctor who could have referred me to someone with in his clinic. He obviously trusted that I would get the best care with Dr. Volford and referred me outside his clinic to her. He didn't make a mistake. I have bragged about her to my friends since day one, and whenever I hear of somebody needing a general physician I direct them to Dr. Volford.\r \r She is very thorough, and if she doesn't have the answer at the time of the visit, I can expect to hear from her within days of after she has done some additional research. \r \r In addition - whenever I needed to be referred to a specialist, I didn't have to do my own searching ~ I quickly discovered that Dr. Volford knew which doctors where the best in each specialty. \r \r Trust, good communication, clear treatment plans, follow up and understanding is is what I value most in a doctor. I have been a patient of Dr. Wolfords for 3 years. For years I have looked for a physician that I trusted and felt had my best interests at heart and who I could partner with in my health care. I wanted a physician that was caring, thorough, easy to talk to and knowledgeable. Dr. Wolford is just that doctor. She is not just a good doctor, she is an exceptional doctor. I came to her with a myriad of health issues and she has been able to help me through all the issues that I came to her with. I knew it would take time for them to be resolved, so I set forth on a 5 year plan. I think some people expect doctors to fix them. I wanted someone to assist me in fixing myself and she is just that doctor. Dr. Wolford is a doctor that truly cares about her patients. I want to know what the problem is, but most of all, how to either eliminate it or get it under control. Every issues that I have dealt with I can honestly say has either been eliminated, like high blood pressure, fatigue, excess pounds lost, or is under control. Dr. Wolford has guided me through the issues and helped me take control of my life and health. Like the saying goes, if it’s to be it’s up to me. I have nothing but outstanding things to say about the doctors she refers me to. She knows who the outstanding doctors are in the area and she refers you to them when the need arrives. The front office staff is pleasant and I am always greeted with a nice smile. Every Medical Assistant that I have come in contact with has been outstanding. Dr. Kim has been an excellent diagnostician and has given clear, concise, and effective treatments. He has a very professional demeanor without being sterile or cold. I was a patient of Dr. Volford's when she was at Family Physicians Group for 4 years. \r I was locked into that clinic by my insurance. I tried repeatedly to be assigned to another doctor and she wouldn't let me go as a patient. \r She is cold, uncaring and is so closed minded that she borders on incompetent. \r She referred me to a specialist then disagreed with his diagnosis, she refused to follow his recommended treatment plan and wouldn't approve the referrals for me to see him for follow up. \r I've been treated for uterine cancer and need periodic follow up appts to see if I remain cancer free, she refused to approve the referral so I could see my Oncologist, she wouldn't even do the ultrasound or blood work the Onc would have ordered.\r \r I was elated the day I learned she'd left FPG and laughed at her nerve when she tried to recruit me to her new practice. more

I chose Dr. Sugarman as after researching his education and performance I thought he'd be a great doctor for me. Not only is he not attentive and cold but the front reception girls are rude and lack customer service skills. Advice: keep looking.... My last visit to this clinic was in 2004 and then I lost my insurance. When I got my insurance again in April 2008, I called the clinic and asked if they can do my blodwork (have to misspell this word because of computer screening) before doctor's visit. Receptionist scheduled me for that , but when I arrived to the clinic again for test, she said doctor want to see me first and then schedul tests. I mentioned that I would appreciate if they call and notify me about changes. Right there we scheduled my doctors visit and she made copy of my insurance card. When I arrived for my doctors visit, I was told that my appointment has been cancelled because I gave them my dental card and they could not verify my coverage. I asked why no one called me. \r What if I had no insurance and was paying cash? Is this how doctors treat their paitents?\r Maybe because I speak with accent and have do not have American name more

I have been to several doctors in the Vancouver area regarding a specific health problem and no one could help diagnose it. I saw what a good review Dr. Glass received and made an appointment. I was not disappointed. He gave me a complete examination and asked questions no other doctor thought of to ask. He was really knowledgeable and gave me a diagnosis after running some tests. I'm better now and feel better than I have ever felt in my life. If you need a doctor who cares about you and practices preventative medicine Dr. Glass is really good at his job. Dr. Glass is truly a rarity up here in the Northwest. Iam lucky to have him as my internest. Simply brilliant, exceptional quality of care. I am recommending him to all of my family & friends. Finally a doctor who knows his medicine. more
