HORRIBLE! I just learned that this doctor's group, Laureate Medical & Northside Hospital require a patient to ""accept these terms"" when registering, those terms include that they are allowed to use your medical information for FUNDRAISING! Not only for the doctors & Northside Hospital but any that they will designate as affiliates.\r \r When I refused to accept, I was not allowed to see my doctor. Highly unethical! more

Love the service 8/15/2006

I had went to there maternity ward as I was having trouble with my pregnancy. They were extremely supportive, took tons of tests and monitored me. It turned out to be nothing major, but I felt like I was in very good hands. The doctor, though young looking, was very knowledgeable and dedicated to making sure me and my baby were fine. more

Northside Hospital 11/26/2005

I delivered our child at Northside Hospital in Atlanta and had an excellent experience. The Labor and Delivery suites are extremely roomy and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the nurses were so helpful to this first timer. I did have an emergency during labor and the response of the staff was incredible. It took about 3 seconds for my room to fill with doctors and nurses, and thankfully my baby was delivered healthy. Needless to say, I highly recommend Northside Hospital's Labor and Delivery. more

Mixed review 11/7/2005

I have had mixed experiences at Northside Hospital. I had a wonderful experience with the ER staff after a car accident and was treated beautifully during an outpatient surgery. Then there was the birth of my daughter.. The labor and delivery nurses were really kind, up until the prep for my c-section.. the nurse prepping me (I'm assuming she was a surgical nurse, but I'm not sure) was cruel.. I'd been through 30 hours of labor, my daughter's heart rate kept dropping, and I was adjusting to the fact that we were going to have a surgical birth.. and as she was prepping me, she was making fun of the hair growth I have on my stomach due to PCOS. My daughter had breathing problems and was taken to transitional care.. given a bottle despite the fact that we'd stated we did not want her to have one and wanted to nurse her as soon as possible (when questionned, the response was "well, we wanted to see if she'd eat" - and at that point, there was NO reason she couldn't have been brought to more

Feels like home to me 10/28/2005

I delivered my first baby last year at this hospital. Really a great experience. Nothing to complain. Great service and they really took good care of me and my baby. They are all very professional and quick to respond. The nurses on shift are really making sure that I get enough rest and nutrition during my stay at the hospital. Responded to my request promptly, and always making sure that I'm comfortable and relaxed. Feels like 1st class treatment. Would definitely recommend my friends and family there. more

I went to ER for my sudden allergic reaction. Like any other ER, I had to wait for a long time before I could see a doctor. But their facility was great & kept clean. more

Clean and Reputable 6/4/2005

Northside Hospital is a clean and reputable hospital. I have had many family members and friends that have stayed at this hospital and I've always heard plesant experiences. I have visited both the ICU unit and Labor and Delivery floor. Staff members have always been pleasant to the visitors and I have always felt welcome. Plenty of paid parking available! This is an outstanding hospital!!! more

HRP High Risk Pregnancy 5/21/2005

I was here for 6 1/2 weeks. They Dr.'s, nurse's and hospital staff went far beyand the call of duty. They were there encouraging me everyday. This is the best place for HRP! more
