I do agree that the care my pets have received throughout the years has been exemplary. That said, I have moved my pets' records and care to another vet because they refused a request to forward a prescription to PetMeds.com. It is my right as a consumer to have them do this on my pet's behalf. They would be happy to give me a written prescription that I could forward to whomever, but I'd have to come to the office ( a 40 mile round trip, and inconvenient for working people), and only then after I paid them a 6 dollar fee! They were not able to match the price of the internet company either. So, in effect, they put me in a lose/lose situation. I will no longer allow them the honor of caring for my dog or cat, or any future lovies to whom I might open my home. I have reported this to our state attorney general's office and the better business bureau.
