I took my vacuum in to Northgate for a reconditioning which I had done for the last several years, and learned that the price for reconditioning had doubled. I decided not to leave the vacuum at the price they quoted. But they sell Janome sewing machines, and I had been looking for a machine that had more stitches as I am a quilter and my sewing machine had home was limited. I purchased one and brought it home to find that it didn't have any more stitches than my Singer, so I brought it back to the store and asked for a refund. The vacuum cleaner repairman was there and said he didn't have the authorization to give refunds, but offered to let me speak to the owner by phone. The owner asked me to leave the machine and my credit card number and expiration date and she would "help me out".
