My mother-in-law is 94 years old and her hearing is failing. I took her into North Suburban Hearing to be examined and fitted for a hearing aid. Within 10 days she was complaining that she could not put them on, that there was a noise and an echo. She decided that she did not want the hearing aid. My mother-in-law had returned the hearing aid to the store. I called the owner Mrs. Stern-Weisman to apologize and to ask her to please issue a credit. After a lenghty conversion of her asking me to keep the hearing aid so she would be able to avoid costly credit card fees, I told her that I needed to return them and pay for the hearing test. She reluctantly agreed to credit the account, but that my son would have to stop in with the credit card to get credit. He sat in the office for 20 minutes waiting to get the credit and was told, only the doctor could do this. It is amazing that they could do the purchase on his credit card over the telephone, but could not issue the credit without the card. I then proceeded to call the credit card company to put this in dispute. Two days later Mrs. Stern-Weisman called my son to tell him that she had issued a credit. The credit was for $310.00 less than the purchase. I know that the hearing test was $60.00. I guess that the other $250.00 was for all of her trouble. I took my son there to have his hearing tested as his school told me they thought he might have a hearing problem. i took his hearing tests results i got from his school to show the doctor at this office. they ran a hearing test on him and told me everything was fine. my son has selective hearing,and hears what he want to. was very relieved to hear that news. if anyone is need of this service they are great people to go see and they have hearing aids you can buy and they also repair hearing aids as well...they are open 6 days a week,which i felt was great. more

I went to this hearing centre when I thought I had a problem with my hearing. My general practition doctor could not find anything in my ears that was obstructing my hearing ability, so I was referred to this center. The staff were wonderful and it was easy to book an appointment. The hearing specialist throughly checked my ears and found that I had a small amount of hearing loss.
