Mary is a miracle worker!!!! 8/29/2009

I went to the Visible Changes at La Cantera to see Mary. I had gone someplace else a few weeks ago and my hair ended up a mess. So when I called for my appointment, I told them that I needed someone to fix a mess and I got Mary. Let me tell you there is something special about Mary and she also has over 25 years of experience. She spent 10 minutes looking at my hair, listening to my concerns and needs. Mary also made some suggestions and made sure we were on the same page before she got started. I love my hair!!!! Mary took a hot mess and turned it into something terrific!!! The staff was very professional friendly. I am very pleased and will return to Mary. Just a side note, Mary recommended Maria for my color. I will be trying her next time I go. Melissa is Awesome! 8/27/2009

I am now a blonde and have been for four years. My natural hair color is almost black and when I tell people this they automatically ask who does my hair. Melissa is the best colorist I have ever been to, and I don't scrimp on things when it comes to my hair. I followed her from North Star to La Cantera and would literally have a meltdown if she ever changed professions. She's quick and efficient, I swear she's a speed highlighter. This is awesome considering I don't have hours to spend at the salon. The faster she is, the faster I am in that chair processing! Very quiet and focused. Her results are unquestionably always fantastic. So if you love to be blonde you will undoubtedly love this Blondie! * Remember you get what you pay for so always go with a Master. Ready to make a big change? 8/13/2009

I went in with some friends and had ALL my hair cut off...went from a ponytail to super short pixie. Prissy did it, and she didn't ask me over and over if I wanted to cut it or whine about how pretty it was long. I said I wanted a supershort razor cut pixie, and she took me where I wanted to go!! I had never been to her before, but my sister got hers done there, and I went on her recommendation. For many, many years, I had my hair done there. When I got into my late 20s, my hairstylist of 12 years moved to NYC. I nearly DIED!! I COULD NOT replace him!!...and then we met Prissy! Pros: Razor cuts, lots of experience, professional, no whining Cons: Can't park right out front-sucks in the rain or wind! more

LA CANTERA - Riley and Orie 6/27/2009

I have been going to V.C. for about 2 years now. I started out going to the North Star Location where Riley did my color. She was transferred to La Cantera so I followed her there. The salon is alot nicer and more spacious. Very nice........Riley has always done a great job and she is VERY friendly and patient. Orie cuts my hair and she is awesome too. i have been with tina at visible changes for a few years now & i can honestly say that she is the best!!!! i have tried other salons & also other chemists at visible changes, but none of the ones i saw have made me happy like she would. she listens to what i want & does what i ask her to do. she will suggest other options & i listen to her because she knows what she is doing. my hair always looks good, even if i have roots! thankyou tina for taking care of me the way you do! Pros: tina always gives me what i want more

I've tried other stylist in San Antonio, all of which were good but not as AMAZING AS GABRIEL...i must have been lost for awhile but I've recently found my way back to VC! there's something about GABRIEL that makes me feel like no other! Tina, Is The Best In the Game!!! 6/10/2009

When I first moved to SA, I destroyed my hair by coloring it black(big no-no). I went to Tina and asked to go lighter. Now mind you, I have a lot of thick curly hair! She did not shy away from the task but instead explained exactly what we needed to do. Now I have the highlights I wanted without destroying the health of my hair. Now people always ask where do I go and my answer is always the same...Tina at Visible Changes in the North Star Mall!! Tina thank you for saving a grateful New Yorker:)) more

The Golden Ticket 6/9/2009

Gabriel has been my hair stylist for 12 years, I remember sitting in his chair for the first time and talking to him about what I wanted. He made me feel very comfortable and at ease I knew that I was in good hands. That does not happen very often. I was sold. In between appointments when my hair is unruly I can tell when he is clipping my hair it becomes alive and happy again. He knows if I come in with a new style that I like, that I am too lazy to work with it once I am home and takes the time to tell me what the style will require. He knows what will make me happy and what will not. How many stylist really take the time to explain what the cut will take once you leave before you even get it cut? My daughter who is 13 has been seeing Gabriel since she was 2. He has done every fabulous style that could possibly be done for her. . .talk about a fashion plate. She is known as the girl with the good hair at school. We could not live without Gabriel and would not even try. Gabriel makes me laugh, gives me a great cut, what else do you want out of life? I have found my ""Golden Ticket"" and would not trade it in for all the chocolate in the world! Pros: Always makes you look your best Cons: I can't bring him home! more

Ah-Mazing Stylist 6/8/2009

I?ve been a ?Visible Changer? for about 17 + years. My initial stylist was someone named Rafael I believe, and he was great at his work. I think he cut my hair a few times before he left VC for opportunities elsewhere. Well this situation and shall I say, blessing, left me the person that continues to style me today ? Gabriel. Where to begin? Gabriel is Ah-Mazing at the work he does for me. He?s not afraid to take risk, he is a great listener, even better he can carry conversion. He listens to what expectation I need from him and delivers great work each and every time. My partner of 20 years is also a client of Gabriel. So our trip from Boerne to North Star is always worth it. I recommend the salon to all my friends and colleagues. Thank you VC and thank you Gabriel. Best Hair Salon In San Antonio 6/7/2009

My stylist Mari was wonderful. She is the master chemical specialist. She asked what I would like done and then offered some suggestions but ultimately gave me exactly what I asked for. She is very courteous and friendly. After coming to Visible Changes I wont be going to any other hair salon! Thank you guys! Do yourself a favor,THIS guy is an excellent artist when it comes to styles and cuts. I have had my hair cut with Gabriel for a long while now and i have been totally satisfied with each visit. If your looking for what you want Gabriel is the best choice in town. Pros: you get what you want more
