North County Import Specialists replaced my steer pump and did an oil change. They kept the car overnight to fix the problem and they helped me get a rental car. I appreciated that they didn't just jump in to try to fix the problem, but they actually validated the problem before getting in there. They were very responsive and they even made a follow-up phone call. more

I have and do recommend North County Import Specialists. When car trouble happens, it's always at the most inopportune times. No matter what, Glen always fits me in ASAP and gets me back on the road. I always feel confident about whatever work got done. more

He's done a few little things for me that were above and beyond, and I appreciate everything he's done for me. I keep going back! I used to go to the Nissan dealer where I bought my car but they were kind of like a bunch of Jesse James's. The people at North County Import Specialists treated me well and that's all it takes! more

I have been going to North County Import Specialists for 10 years now and I have always been very satisfied. I have sent many referrals to them. I really like the convenience from work and I mostly can get my car fixed within a day. In fact, the most recent time I visited them, they got the part ordered even before I came in. Their service is very personalized and just amazing. more

An environment I don't mind waiting for my car in! 3/14/2012

I had 2 different individuals from car dealerships recommend North County Import Specialists for auto maintenance and repair. I began going to them about 11 years ago and have stuck with them since. The service I get keeps me going back...I can call and ask questions without waiting long. If I notice my tail light has burned out while I am out I can usually stop in for a 15 minute repair without an appointment, and they keep a great atmosphere for the customers. The waiting area has a nice TV, clean facilities, and makes the whole place a great environment which makes me not mind waiting there for my car to get fixed. Very happy with the service and work, and I would recommend them. more

I'd give North County Import Specialists a 10 out of 5 if I could. I went in my first time with my previous car, which was a '91 Nissan Sentra that was due for a major service. My friends at work recommended Glen to me, and I called him up and told him what I needed. He assured me that they do every inspection on the list, and he gave me a price much lower than at the dealer. They're totally honest and reliable. I even got another Nissan recently, so I could keep going to Glen. I didn't want him to lose a customer! And I know he would not tell you something was wrong with your car even if it wasn't. Some mechanics look at women and older people as people to take advantage of. Glen wouldn't. I trust him, and I've been going to North County Import Specialists for years now. more

Service You Can Trust 2/13/2012

As a single parent with 3 school age kids, I need a dependable car. For me, having a trust worthy mechanic behind the hood of a not so new car is very important! I can't afford a new car, but thanks to North County Import Specialist, my old car always runs like new. No worries, and talk about people that go the extra mile for you...they do it all. Highly recommend their service to every one I know. We love you NCIS! more

I have been using North County Import Specialists for three years. I got an oil change with them and have never gone anywhere else since. He has been very good to us. Many times he stays late and waits for us to come and get our cars after 5pm, when we are done with work. more

I think North County Import Specialists is a very good company. I have known them and had service with them for a long time, about 12 years now. The quality of their work is unquestionable. He tells us what the actual problem is and fixes it. He has always been very timely and easy to work with. I am very happy and will continue to drive the 15 miles for their service. North County Import Specialists is excellent. I've known them for 15 years, so they go way back with my car. I always know the job is going to be done correctly and with genuine Nissan parts for my car because they won't use knockoff parts. If there are any issues, they will take care of anything. They are my go-to guys. more

Went above what he needed to!! 1/9/2012

The technician at North County Import Specialists went above what he needed to do! I had an oil change due, and he rotated my tires at no cost. I had the convenience of doing it near home instead of driving all the way to the coast to the dealership. North County Import Specialists were willing to go the extra mile. It's a place to go! They will be satisfied with the service, quality of workmanship, and professionalism at North County Import Specialists! more

I can't put a price on Glenn's honesty. 11/29/2011

North County Import Specialists is great! Glenn will take you in, even if he's busy, and try to have your car back to you that same day if possible. His honesty goes above and beyond too. I had to have my car towed there, and they let me drop it off without me being there. He diagnosed it quickly and told me what was needed, a single part. He could have told me the entire system was broken and needed repairing and charged me an enormous amount, but he didn't. I can't put a price on Glenn's honesty. And that's why I keep going back. more

Their check-in and seating area is always nice and clean and comfortable. The best thing is that Glenn always has a smile on his face and always remembers who you are! more

If we could take our Ford there we would! 10/19/2011

We love North County Import Specialists! We have recommended them many times, pretty much any chance we have, as we have never had a bad experience with these people. When we first came to this area, they were actually recommended to me by someone that knew of them. At at that we had a Camry and they serviced that. Then we bought a Lexus, and even though it was still under warranty we would take it to Glenn at North County Import Specialists instead of the dealership. He knows the parameters of the warranty and won't step over the line to void it or do work outside his area of expertise. We were hit from the side once and the car was taken to a dealership in Carlsbad to be repaired, but we still took it to Glenn afterwards to have him look at it and sign off on it, and he still found a bolt missing! I trust Glenn, because he has demonstrated time after time why we can trust him. He's a good guy, and if we could take our Ford to him we would! more

We were referred to North County Import Specialists by a friend of ours. I've been taking my car and my husband has been taking his car to North County Import Specialists for the last several years. We've always been very happy with their service. They're very reasonably priced. They've done everything from regular preventative maintenance, new tires, and brakes replacement. I have been a long time customer of North County Import Specialists! For eighteen years, I've continued to take my car to Glenn. He always lets me know what needs to be fixed and why and when it should be done or if it can wait. He'll go into detail and explain why things need to be done. North County Import Specialists have been keeping my old car running for ten years! They have done everything! I can't think of anything they haven't done. When I moved into the area, I noticed they were part of the BBB so I decided to use them. I just stayed with North County Import Specialists because I never felt like I was being ripped off. I just go, no questions, and they're great. I have nothing bad to say about them! more
