Here's how North County Health Services Dental Clinic stole $64 and 6 hours of time from me:
On the first visit to the dental clinic, I paid $84 up front for a dental exam, got it (after waiting for 2 hours), and was told to come back next time to get the cavity filled.
On the next visit, I paid up-front $64 for the cavity to be filled. But then they just did another exam (after I waited for another 2 hours), and then told me I'd have to come back ANOTHER time to actually get the cavity filled -- and pay another $174, too.
On that second visit, I PAID FOR A CAVITY TO BE FILLED -- AND JUST GOT ANOTHER EXAM -- ONE THAT I DIDN'T NEED OR WANT.
Basically, I paid UP FRONT for a cavity to be filled, and DIDN'T GET IT, but got something I didn't need or want instead.
This is fraud, this is bait-and-switch, this is CRIME, and I will be doing WHATEVER IT TAKES TO BRING THESE CRIMINALS TO JUSTICE!
So far, I've spent about 3 hours unneccessarily at their office (the second, spurious office visit), along with another 3 hours seeking justice. That's 6 hours of my time wasted so far, and I DEMAND RECOMPENSE FOR THAT, TOO.
I used to work for the State Police as a technician, and am now pursuing a Law degree. I will be going all-out to bring these frauds at NCHS Dental to justice, and to make them pay back the money they owe me AND the hours I've had to spend to right this wrong.
I now plan to a) make a complaint to the local police b) make a complaint to the attorney general c) make a complaint to every member on their Board Of Directors d) contact the local news agency e) make a complaint to the Better Business Bureau f) investigate to see how many others they may have defrauded g) create a website where victims of NCHS Dental can record the crimes committed upon them, in preparation for h) a class-action lawsuit and full police investigation against them. And THAT'S JUST THE BEGINNING!
