We love our car! 4/15/2011

Two years ago my husband and I declared bankruptcy for the first time in our lives. We are used to having brand new cars, paying high prices which is one thing that got us in trouble once the economy slipped and we lost our business. After our bankruptcy we got a flyer mailed to us from this company and while we thought it was too good to be true we kept the flyer. Our truck was too expensive to maintain and keep filled with gas and our other car had 175,000 miles on it and I was afraid to drive it. We called Carmax first and they said our interest would be 24.9% and they would have to see our truck for the trade in. The sales person we spoke to at North County Buick Cadillac GMC Gia really listed to us and called us back telling us about the perfect affordable car. She told us what we would get for the truck, what our interest would be and what our monthly payment would be. We got there at 4:30 and there were NO surprises...no coming back asking for money out of pocket...everything how she said it on the phone and we drove away in our 1 year old beautiful Saturn at 5:15. Plus our interest for a bankruptcy was in the low teens and she even told us how to get our credit score up for an even better interest rate next time. No prepayment penalty and this was so flawless we will tell all of our friends and be back. We love our car! more

They completed every service request 4/14/2011

Brought my Yukon in for the first service and they treated me like I was at a Rolles Royce dealership. They completed every service request on my list without question. They even went the extra mile and traded out my tires that had bad tread wear and where making noise. If this is the type of service they always perform I will be buying my next car at North County GMC. more

Poor selling practices and poor service 9/2/2009

I bought a Jeep Wrangler from this dealership and had numerous problems with them. First they put an improper color for the custom leather interior we had them do. They refused to pay to put the correct color in and it still looks bad. Then we had a problem with their alarm system not working properly (constant falses). They eventually replaced the alarm but we still get the false alarms. Finally, we came to realize that the soft top that came with the Jeep (also has a hard top) was missing $465 dollars in numerous parts required to install it. They refused to get me the parts or refund me the cost to get them. I wish I'd read all of the poor reviews about this dealership before I decided to make a purchase there. more
