Our first encounter with this vet was good. Though it took a while for someone to get back to us. We brought our cat in the get blood work done. They diagnosed her with hyperthyroid. So we got her on meds. We decided that that we couldn't afford the $50/month med so we looked else where to try and find a cheaper price. With one of us getting laid off and I was getting little work plus I just got out of heart surgery without sick leave, we were trying to cut expenses. The office manager got upset that we went somewhere else for ours meds and has made it utterly difficult to get our prescription sent over to the pet pharmacy. We have decided that we will no longer take any of our pets there due to the horrible service that we received there from the office staff. The doctors were very accomodating but if you can't talk to the doctor without going through the staff, it really doesn't matter. I'd rather pay for my vet to help us out instead of some office manager making life a bit more stressful. The sad part is that this vet costs a little more than most vets. I really was hoping for better service. If you can deal with an office staff that likes to tell you you're always in the wrong or blame you for their mistakes, then I say go for it but there are better animal hospitals out there. Good luck!
