Nonna's Family Style Italian Restaurant

This restaurant is located conveniently off of Rt.9. It also contains a bakery inside so after dinner, you could walk right into the foyer and pick up dessert for home instead of eating it in the restaurant! Nonnas has a unique concept - dinners are to be shared by at least two people, thus the entrée is suitable for a number of people. Food: Is great. Fresh bread in a basket is served first and that is delicious in itself. There is a good selection of entrées and the food is definitely of high quality. Portion size is 2+ people. Prices: Everything is in the double digits because their dishes are meant to be shared and most of it is in the $20s and some may be slightly less (like the appetizers). Service: Decent. Not a long wait at all, perhaps 5 minutes and the booths and tables are very large. The food came out in a short period of time. Server checks periodically to make sure everything is alright. The one thing you need to understand about this restaurant before you go is that they serve their food family style. This means that even though each dish costs close to $20, it is huge and meant to be shared between at least two to three people. You want to go there if you are eating with a group of close friends, because the quality and atmosphere of the place is great. more
