Our party of six didn't arrive until almost 8 pm. At that time, only 3-4 tables were busy. We were hesitant, but stayed for what became delicious Italian. We started with bread and rosted cloves of garlic in olive oil. Olives, bell pepper slices, sliced carrots, and peperoncini pickled in spiced olive oil were another starter. French sweet onion soup was sealed with a thick layer of fontina cheese. Scrumptious! Our entrees included penne carbonara, shrimp fra Diavolo, eggplant parmigiana (not breaded), panko-crusted pan-seared sea scallops, broccoli rabe with sausage, and spaghetti and meatball all were cooked perfectly. The pasta were all al dente and perfect. Creme brulee, cheesecake, and vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce were the perfect end for a delicious meal with friends. The service was efficient and attentive, with ample menu suggestions.
