Best

I've been coming here for 3 years now, generally on the weekends, for the Dim Sum here. The place is almost always packed, and being as large as it is, that's saying something. ...

Worst

Didn't really work for me, it's not bad but just not what I had expected. I still think Top Gun or places in ID would be better suited for Dim Sum.

Great Dim Sum 5/6/2005

Noble Court has a great selection of Dim Sum that is fresh and delicious. For DIm Sum, the carts are constantly circulating with lots of food selections available. The service is good too! I highly recommend them. It can really crowded, especially on weekends, but that's a good thing. It tells you how great their food is. Whenever we want dim sum, this is where we go! Cons: crowded on weekends more

Come for lunch! 9/15/2004

I love the Dim Sum lunch. I do not know what half the stuff is, but it all tastes good! I recommend anything that comes in dumpling form. Water glass is always full. Great for groups; the price tends to work out to about 12$/person for a bunch of adult males. Pros: parking, great food more

Just not worth it 3/16/2004

Noble Court is the kinda of restaurant you want when you are trying to impress your date how rich you are. The food is just ok, the service is awful, but the price is 50% more than it should be. Most dishes for dinner comes in big plates, but there are very little food inside. It's got nice decorations outside, but that's pretty much it. I had to go there for many times back in the days when there are so few Chinese restaurants on the eastside, but now I would only go there for dim sum once a year. Pros: Lots seats, Nice environment Cons: , Awful service, Big plate little food more

Maybe I should try the Dim Sum ... 7/21/2003

We went to Noble Court, but it wasn't for the Dim Sum - we just decided to have dinner there one weekend night. Boy did we regret it. A friend of mine ordered a chicken dish that _sounded_ tasty, but ended up with an unappetizing WHOLE chicken on his plate, cold, bare of any sauce or seasoning. Needless to say, he didn't eat much, nor did he request a doggie bag. The rest of us ordered safe bets like General Tso's chicken, which were only mediocre. Try any place in town for better food than this place. We might try it for dim sum, which gets more customers and would probably be a safe bet if it's getting such good reviews. Pros: prompt service Cons: menu descriptions, vague pricing, "shady" atmosphere more

Just OK 2/23/2003

Forget the Walnut Prawns. Go elsewhere to eat, but come back for the entertainment and dancing. more

Little Red Bridge 1/1/2003

The dim-sum is all I ever go here for, it is great for groups of people, and I think quite resonable. I love arriving at Noble Court and seeing the pretty garden with the little stream and arched red bridge. Pros: Garden Setting, Plenty Seating, Many Choices more

Best Dim Sum Around 9/13/2002

The Dim Sum is wonderful. Can't say enough. A friend of mine who is Cantonese is very fussy about the Chinese food he eats. This is one of his favorite places to eat on the East Side. Pros: Food Cons: Service more

Good Dim Sum 8/28/2002

Year in, year out a solid choice for authentic Chinese food on the eastside. Service efficient and friendly but as with many Dim Sum places in Hong Kong and China you have to be assertive to get what you want when you want it. Pros: Good dim sum, good service, good value Cons: Lousy parking more

HowSz 8/19/2002

Its the best Dim Sum I had during my recent trip to the pacific northwest. Vancover's Chinatown didn't come close. Noble court food was authentic and tasty. Watch out a favorite of the Microsoft crowd could fill up fast during lunch. Pros: Fast, Large Selection, Inexpensive Cons: Crowded, Parking more

Yummy Dim Sum 7/22/2002

Went there for Dim Sum for the first time recently. Their choices were vast, but we had a hard time understanding the description of the food items. The language barrier frequently got in the way. It seemed that almost every item had shrimp in it, to the point that we wondered if the fruit salad had shrimp in it also! Regardless, the food was really good! I've also had lunch there, which was really good as well. Pros: yummy Dim Sum, good lunch menu Cons: parking can be packed more

Dim Sum Nirvana 7/19/2002

Having lived & traveled extensively throughout asia, Noble Court delivers the real deal when it comes to Dim Sum. For my money, it's one of the best in the area. more

Give them a try 7/3/2002

They have really good honey walnut prawns and mongolian beef. Their crab with ginger sauce was good, but way too expensive. The server couldn't communicate to us that it was $30 plus the price marked on the menu. The bill was scary that time. Good dishes besides the crab. General Tsao's is greasy, but that's how it is at most places. Hong Kong Seafood is still the best Chinese restaurant (Seattle). Pros: food, presentation Cons: communication, can be expensive more

mixed bag chinese food 6/29/2002

Believe it or not, I used to like going to this place for both dim sum and dinner. But, I have to agree with many of the reviewers regarding the service and the sanitation conditions of this place. Once we were seated in a back room - with no windows. I was appalled at all the food on the walls!! No wonder they have problems with insects. I won't be going back. Pros: good food Cons: dirty, bad service more

  • The Scene
Heavily dressed in neon outside, Noble Court is modest inside: good table linens and lots of fake plants and flowers. Even though it seats more than 200, this place gets slammed...
