The first time I went to this store I was amazed at all the varieties of fish they offered, but I soon discovered that selection is about the only thing they have going for them. The staff is friendly, but not at all knowledgeable about what fish breeds are compatible with each other or the specific needs of the fish. I asked for advice on what to put in my 10 gallon tank, and after the fact I found out they sold me a fish that is 8-10 inches long as an adult! As I got larger tanks, I would buy fish and half the time they wouldn't last a week. They'd sell me fish that would fight in my tanks at home, and then they wouldn't let me return them even though I had followed all of their recommendations. My advice? If you want a real fish store, go to Sandy's Pet Shop. I don't shop anywhere else.
