When I first saw this restaurant, I could tell by the old neon sign above that this place dates back to around 1960. I know that any restaurant that has survived since 1960 must be good. The owner confirmed that he has been there since 1960. The food is good old fashioned neighborhood Italian restaurant food. My favorite is their spaghetti with meat sauce and meat balls. It comes with a half loaf of Italian bread. It is more than two people can eat for a meal and cost about $8.50. It is just above the station at 179th Street on the F line. You will know it by the wonderful old neon sign that says ""Pizza"" more

THE PIZZA OF CHAMPIONS!...A Local Favorite! 12/6/2006

True New York pizza parlor favor at the end of the F train...best in the neighboor! Has all a pizzeria could offer...including the fruit-punch machine...whats a pizzeria without one? Plenty of Super Bowl articles...I never asked but its seems Neno has an NFL Champion son...I dont know if there are any specials for having a Marco Battaglia NFL Football Card. GREAT FOOD FROM A PIZZERIA THAT HAS BEEN AROUND FOR GENERATIONS. 7/13/2006

The food in Nino's Pizza is great. The food is always fresh and they use the highest quality ingrediants. Nino's Pizzza has been around for ages, groups of students and children in the neighborhood have grown up eating from here. Pros: Large portions/slices Cons: It is usually busy because of the great food and because it's right at the first stop of the F-train. more
