Out of this world SUSHI!! 7/29/2011

Best $20 I ever spent. The Sushi was phenomenal!! They always have the freshest most flavorful fish. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. I will never go anywhere else because I know I would just be disappointed. I will be a loyal customer for the rest of my life. And one of the sushi chefs are hilarious, so sit at the sushi bar, and you will have an experience you will never forget!! more

Fun Place, Local, Problems With Tipping Disbursement 5/14/2011

Good food, reasonable price. The waitress that serves the teppanyaki grill patrons always asks for her tips after you tip the cook. There are some internal issues that should be worked out so that the customer and guests do not see. You tip the cook (for the show and food they cook) then there is a separate bill for the food, drinks and it also has a tip section. All my guests (I paid) saw the waitress talk to the cook as we were leaving about her portion of the tip (her service was not very good). more

Cheapest and best around, still the original! 2/10/2008

Ninja has been around for a long time! and I went there many times when i was a child so now that i am married and havea child we go to! Pros: good food, cheap prices, Cons: takes alittle while to get food made, dinner left hubby hungery, more

best sushi in town + best deal in town = win/win 10/12/2007

this is the best sushi in town, and it also happens to be the best deal in town, the swanky sushi bars that are always getting praised by new times and citysearch are a joke, ninja is hip but comfortable, great music and ambience but also enough space, very friendly servers and sushi chefs, and best of all, fresh, flavorful, delicious sushi, and even better, all you can eat, from the menu for only 20 dollars, i would eat here every day if i could afford it. for the health concious i recommend the spicy tuna roll, the salmon, and the vegetable roll, for those who want to go all out i recommend the spider hand roll and the las vegas roll. seriously though, this is THE BEST sushi in phoenix, dont be tricked by corporate bs. Pros: great sushi, great price, great service Cons: closed 2:30pm - 5pm Monday - Sat, not open until 5pm on Sunday more

Yummy sushi! 8/29/2006

The sushi is great. Miki recognizes my husband and I everytime we go. Usually our visits go pretty smoothly. Pros: Fresh Sushi, nice chefs Cons: can get crowded, really slow service, sometimes the waitress forgot about us (on more than one occasion) more

To Sushi or not to Sushi, that is the question! 4/27/2006

Choose Ninja Sushi! Miki & Matt (my wife & I call him Mateo) are some of the most friendly personable sushi chefs I have ever encountered. From the regular menu items to their own special rolls, no one makes it like they do. If you can get a seat at the bar in front of Matt and have him WOW you with his skills. From the Bendejo roll (It's just a name folks) to the Mexilian roll you can't go wrong. Pros: Reasonable, Friendly Staff, Great Sushi Cons: Gets crowded fast, kinda noisey, next door to a buffet more

Great Sushi with Unbelievably low price! 4/12/2006

Great Sushi with Unbelievably low price! Yes. Just like I said. You got to try it. You will know what I am talking about! more

Don't be fooled by it appearance 10/14/2005

I had my doubts when one of my friends took me to Ninja for lunch. The atmosphere was a bit drab. But the sushi was fabulous. There chefs were friendly and fast. we had the all you can eat sushi, which had several items compared to others that I have eatten at for the same price. Pros: great all you can eat Cons: appearance, hidden in strip mall more

The Spider Rolls Rock 3/28/2005

The sea eel (anago) was a little dry, but the kani (crab) was great and the spider rolls were outstanding. Best I think I've had anywhere. The wasabi was really sharp, and I noticed that most of the patrons seemed to be regulars. Always a good sign in any restaurant, but especially with a sushi bar. The place isn't fancy, but the food is tasty and the price is about standard for the fare. I'll be trying the all you can eat sushi next time. Pros: family friendly, fresh ingredients, friendly staff more
