So I walk through the door, after being passed by ruffiants from the overpriced tattoo shop a few doors down and enter a world that surpasses my expectations. If you've been to many indian grocery stores, you may have the same expectations I do: small, crowded, smelley, loud, and poorly staffed. So you can imagine my surprise to see short lines at the counters, friendly smiles and staff wandering around asking people if they need any help. The atmosphere is light, the look is clean and organized and the staff is really friendly. They've recently expanded and have a dining area that looks really clean as well. But to be frank, that's not why I wanted to write this review. IF YOU ARE AMERICAN READ THIS:
I have never found a store more well suited for Americans to find what they need to make indian food. The isles are well stocked and incredibly organized. they carry a great selection and are always willing to help you find what you need. Sometimes when you go, they will give you cupons to their "fast food" establishments, which I also recomend highly. Overall, if you are looking for authentic indian food, with easy prices, and a catering to the Indian Food newbie, Nina's is the place.
