I just moved to the Philly area recently and didn?t know which body shop to turn to when my car was damaged. First I went to the Honda dealership, who actually uses a body shop behind it, which 3 other dealerships use. I didn?t get a good vibe or estimate from them?.so I went online and found that Nigro?s downtown got rave reviews on Google.
I took my car in, Dominic looked at the damage to my car and the estimate from the other guys insurance company and straight up told me, that if they only did the work on the estimate my car would be two different shades of silver when I got it back, because the insurance wasn?t going to pay for paint blending or a new fender. So he told me he would request a supplement from them and fight them for me and just give me a call when everything was done.
But me being the worry-wort I am, and with the bad luck I tend to have, my car sat in the shop for 8 days because the lady that was supposed to do the supplement ?said? she called and ?someone? from the shop told her the car wasn?t there, which totally wasn?t true. When she did finally come out to look at the supplement she would not agree to have the insurance pay for some things still no matter how hard Dominic fought for me (because she was very RUDE person who is probably a very unhappy in life).
So Dominic did the little work she wouldn?t pay for anyway free of charge so my car would be restored to it?s prior condition! :D Needless to say, dealing with the insurance company and getting into a wreck is always a nightmarish experience, but Nigro?s made it so easy, simple, and took care of everything. They even have a good connection with Avis, and had the insurance company pay to put me in a luxury rental car for the duration of my car being in the shop!
I would definitely recommend Nigro?s Auto Body to anyone who gets into a wreck, wants their car to look brand new when they get it back (they even vacuumed and washed the car!!), and don?t want to deal with the headache of fighting insurance companies.
Pros: experience, honest, tough with insurance
Cons: nada
