A word of caution to others in the buisness of fixing bikes: you might want to up your game. I was unfortunately in a collision and after calling 6 different shops, Nicoll racing was one of 2 that actually picked up ( it was 1 in the afternoon, and I called twice to each store that didnt pick up and left messages which none responded back too) and didnt charge me a cent for an over all diagnostic of my bike.\r more

While visiting California, I went to Nicoll Racing looking for parts and gear. Billy spent a great deal of time helping me find the items I was looking for, ordering them, and working out special shipping details. It is obvious that he is an expert, loves bikes, and enjoys working with people. If I could give him 6 stars, I would.\r more

The team at Nicoll Racing provided very quick service (had the appropriate suspension parts in stock) at a fair price. Very accommodating on drop-off and pick-up. Will take my bike back for regular service and repairs.\r more

I emailed him one night that I had found a particular tire for my street bike that other shops were unable or unwilling to bring in for me. Within minutes, after hours, he emailed me back saying he could get those tires for a great price and to bring my bike in the next day. He delivered on his promise, he and his guys did a great job, and I would not trust anyone else to work on my bikes.\r more

Nicoll Racing is a one man shop run by what is probably the most no-nonses person I have ever met, Billy Nicoll. Even though Billy's shop always seems to be full of motorcycles and he is the only person manning it, I have never had to wait a single second past the stipulated time. He is incredibly apt at working on any machine, and is one of the few independent licensed shops that work on Ducatis. He is also So Cal's only approved Racetech technician, which is near impossible to be, unless you're the best. It's no surprise that Metric is the go to place for most of Houston's motorcycle racer when they need their fine-tuned machines working at the top of their capabilities.\r more

Simply put, a professional, and that is not something you find all that often in the motorcycle repair and tuning business. Billy is well known and respected in the serious motorcyling community in SC (and elsewhere). Know what you want when you talk to him and know that you will get the finest service available.\r more

I find out about Nicoll Racing from a friend -- Nicoll had rebuilt the suspension on his CRF450X. The bike rode like a dream, so I eventually looked Billy up and had him work on my bike as well. The suspension exceeded my expectations! Some time later I was riding in Baja and I couldn't get my bike to start. I called Billy and he walked me through some troubleshooting. No talk of charging me, just a good guy helping me out. Some time later my bike needed a valve job and the top end rebuilt. Billy quoted me a reasonable price and provided excellent service. He noticed some other issues while working on the bike and provided and estimate -- but no pressure to get them done or have him do it. I'll be back!\r more

Attention: PWC, Motorcycle and ATV owners, this team at Nicoll Racing are fantastic at doing the hard to do jobs to routine servicing on your bike, jetski , quad, etc. Billy and his team are relentless and committed to customer service and their work. August 2011, I had my 2001 SeaDoo GTX DI rebuild by this team and I was very happy to report, they saved me money from what the SeaDoo dealer service charge. Nicoll Racing team troubleshoots all problems kept my jetski in limp mode on the ECU. It had stumped the SeaDoo dealer mechanic with the existing codes on my GTX DI. Nicoll races to great service and save client's time and money. Thanks again Nicoll Racing team!\r more

Sooo, I was involved in a low speed, parking lot collision - some dude cut the corner and was driving on the wrong side of the road. (unrelated to Nicoll Racing, parking lots are privately owned so the cops come and don't do anything but help you exchange information with the other party - avoid accidents in parking lots at all costs) , Billy himself came to pick up my bike and rode it back to his shop with a broken shifter & foot peg. In less than 4 hours, he'd sent me an itemized repair list via email. I love it when people use technology. Makes it so convenient. Ordered the parts & my bike was ready for pick up by the end of the week - although I didn't pick it up until 3 days later (had to work out logistics of getting to work). I'm now 2 for 2 on great, friendly customer service here!\r more

I bought some new tires off the internet and sent them to Nicoll Racing for installation. Walked in and was promptly helped by Billy - no waiting at all. They gave me a call when the bike was done and made sure I knew that new tires can be slick for the first 50 miles. Safety first, right? Friendly people and quick attentive service. The kind of friendliness you hope you always encounter at a retail establishment. Price wise, they were on par with what others were quoting for tire installation.\r more

Won't take my bike anywhere else! Honest and informative mechanic who always has my bike running perfect. Always gets things done super quick if I am on a time crunch and I completely trust anyone he has working under his belt. I have even received help over the phone while working on something myself. Best work I have had done from Billy is on my suspension. Highly recommended!\r more

I have been taking my bike into Nicoll Racing since I moved into the area about four years ago. I just brought my bike in today for some work because it has been sitting in the garage too long and it might need some work on the carburetor. Each time I go in there, they have a professional team member at the front desk that is always happy to help me out. They quickly diagnose any problems that my bike is having, and the mechanics always do good work. They have worked on my engine, exhaust, forks and suspension. Also, I never feel like they are price gouging or adding on unnecessary things. I have always had a much better vibe from these guys than any other place that I took my bike to. To sum it up, these guys are great guys that do great work.\r more

I've had some suspension work done by these guys and I can not say enough about the great work they have done. They were below estimate and done earlier then I expected. They knew I wanted to ride that weekend and I think they put me ahead a few job to get me out in the dirt. I'll be back!\r more
