The service was practically seamless 5/4/2011

I just had my Mini repaired here and it was the best experience I've ever had at a service shop. The service was practically seamless: the woman handling the repair shop reservations was knowledgable and made me feel like my problem would be solved; I dropped off my car, they had a complementary car rental ready for me, there was no paperwork when dropping off the car, and everybody knew what they were doing. The staff was very friendly, very professional and well-trained in customer service. I was taken care of by Phil Gibson....a shout-out to him. Both my buying experience and service experience here has been outstanding. more

I was in the market for a new Mini Cooper S hard top and I thought I had an excellent deal with one of Nick's competitors. I was just about to take ownership of it but then I remembered all of those great commercials that Elizabeth Alexander does on AM1070 while driving to work. I really like that personal touch she conveyed. So I instant messaged and met this salesman online named Joshua Ross and explained what I was looking for. Within about an hour he showed me via email an incredible Mini Cooper S that was far superior to the one I was suppose to pick up. He also sent along an incredible quote that beat any competitor's one. I immediately drove from Long Beach to the downtown LA dealership, shook hands, did the paperwork and in about 25 minutes, the Cooper was mine. Just incredible! Frankly, I hate car shopping! I feel as though I am always being swindled, but the experience with Josh was the exact opposite. Josh was patient, understanding and willing to help me any way he could with this purchase. He reassured me that we were entering a long-term relationship and not just a one-time purchase. He gave me his personal mobile number and said I could call him if I had any questions or problems. He then handed me over to this talented young man named Junior Mercado. What can't I say about this guy? First, he's smart, knows the Mini brand inside and out and is able to answer any and every question on the fly about the Cooper. Since I came from a simple car, the Mini presented me with an electronic learning curve. Junior answered all my tough questions and helped me get acquainted with the Bluetooth, Satellite and Mobile phone systems. The next day, I was still a bit confused and I phoned Junior. We arranged a time and I came back to the dealership whereby he patiently sat with me in the car and went over all of the features once again. He even walked me around the car and answered mechanical questions as well. What encyclopedic knowledge this young gentleman has! It is not often that I write a letter praising excellence. However, this time around, it was well deserved! I am not only excited and proud to be a member of the Alexander dealership customer family, but I am also referring all of my family and friends for their car buying needs. more

Service was one of a kind 4/24/2011

My service advisor was Jeff, he took the time to explain everything that my warranty covered, he went detail by detail to make me feel like if I was talking to my friend about my car. His service was one of a kind. I couldn't believe that he went the distance to recommend services that were not even part of the schedule maintenance. His attention to detail, follow-up and follow-through, and excellence in individualized my care for my vehicle is unlike any service advisor I have ever interacted with. The rest of the staff was also amazing. As soon as I went in to the waiting area they welcome you "good morning", and even ask you if you care for premium coffee. I never in my life had any type of service like Nick Alexander BMW has provided. Jeff and the rest of the staff took ownership and show that they truly care for one not only as a customer but as a friend. I recommend everyone that owns a BMW to get your service here, you will be blown away at the experience they provide, none other out-there will match what Jeff and Nick Alexander has done for me today and if you don't own a BMW then you have more of a reason to drop by check out their deals and hopefully you can become part of this family. more

Alicia is simply fantastic. Her responsiveness to questions is legendary. She outbid other dealers and was the only dealer who was able to get the car we wanted. And your policy of picking up cars for the free 3 years of maintenance is simply spectacular. more

Excellent job 4/10/2011

I went to get my 135i serviced today and I was extremely pleased with the service from start to finish. Elan was my Service Advisor and he did an excellent job of getting me into a rental, informing me on the status of the repairs throughout the day, and having the vehicle ready on time. Elan even got the vehicle completely detailed for me and it looks absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend both Nick Alexander Imports and Elan as a Service Advisor for anyone who needs any maintenance on their BMW. more

We bought my wife's BMW335I here. The staff is great and overall the customer service is excellent. What really pushes my rating to 5 stars is the service department. Jeffrey Manarang in particular takes care of us and he is on point and knows his stuff. The car is always ready when he says and is still driving like new. I would definitely recommend this place!! more

Best service adviser 3/23/2011

I've owned 2 BMW's, had my car serviced at several dealerships, and Elan Haim at Nick Alexander is DEFINITELY the best service adviser I have ever had. He was kinder and much more informative than any adviser I have had at any dealership, be it Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, or Century West. Elan gets 5 stars by himself-everyone should go to him. more

Willing to work with me 3/20/2011

Buying a Car can be a FUN or Dreaded experience. Going from dealer to dealer. You don't know if you're getting a deal or just getting bent over without any KY. With over 1,000,000+ combination and possibilities. Looking for my Mini was arduous task. Fortunately, I'm pretty good with the Googling and the thing called the internet. Which landed me to Nick Alexanders online sales associate Josh. I told him what I was willing to pay. I didn't want to pay a dollar more for my offer and Josh was willing to work with me. He found my 50th Anniversary Hot Chocolate Mini Cooper S. In days the car arrived at the lot. I got in to their tricked out facility. Singed the paper-work. Got my keys and smiled the whole way home. more

Jeffrey Manarang in the service department goes above and beyond the call of service to his customers. I have been working with him for many years now and i will contiue to do so as long as i have BMW cars. I will not go to any other service center, but Nick Alxeander and only work with Jeff. 100% honest 3/14/2011

I have a 19 year daughter as USC and just recently purchased a 2007 BMW 328i in Texas for her to have in school there in Los Angele's. She had a warning light on and took it to Nick Alexander BMW and worked with Elan. Elan recommended some other maintenance work that was not essential but recommended in taking care of her car. I later learned if it would not have been taken care of now it would have needed to have been done soon. Elan dealt with me and my daughter and was extremely professional and helpful. He reviewed the maintenance issues and consistently called me with any updates. He also went the extra mile to make sure my daughter was well taken care of. Before I wrote this review, I called BMW Headquarters and other people to make sure everything done was needed and not under warranty or other maintenance coverage I may have had. Everything done was recommended and Elan was 100% honest. I live in Dallas and wanted to make sure my daughter was taken care of correctly and she definitely was. Hopefully Elan will be there a long time or until my daughter graduates so he can continue taking care of her! more

Love this place 3/9/2011

Our local Mini dealerships said we didn't qualify for low apr and they only had higher priced minis (even the used minis were high). We emailed NA late one night not expecting to hear back for a while and within minutes had a reply. Turns out we qualified for the special they had going, as in 0.9%! Holy moly, they even had several base model minis to choose from and they knocked down the price without us even asking! Could not believe how smooth the process went, we did everything over the phone/email, and didn't have to go to LA even once. They delivered the new mini to my husband's workplace in San Diego free of charge. A month later we got a very cool package from NA with all kinds of Mini swag, love this place :D more

loved him 2/28/2011

Andres, the manager is flamboyantly ridiculous. I loved him. He is definitely a salesman in and out. I brought in my Chinese aunt to negotiate my mini because Mini is notorious for not backing down on the sticker price. Any time anyone in my family wants to buy a car, we bring my aunt. She is good at haggling. She was offered a job at Lexus and BMW after breaking down some of their salesmen. My aunt tried walking away and Andres walked out with her holding her hand, telling her that he just wants to make the both of us happy. In the end, I got my mini at the price we wanted. Pros- They offer flatbed pick-up on maintenance. I have never heard of this service, but it sounds awesome. They send a truck to pick up your car (within 30 miles) and bring it back after service. -Variety, every color combination on the lot. -Flavia coffee machine! -Andres the manager. more
