Newswanger Furniture

Be aware and look up current sales for La-Z-Boy items, this store is high and I bought a sofa which was faulty and needed repaired. We were looking to add more items, but the price here does not reflect the quality. We were offered an amount back for the repair on the next purchase, but that wouldn't have even brought us down to the sale price, let alone the repair done...not repaired by Newswanger, but collected photos and spoke to La-Z-Boy company, Still waiting for store and company to make things right. Take your time and look outside the are if you think the items should be much lower! more

Purchased a sofa and the frame was faulty, middle wooden supports hung free with no support. I was told the sofa could be looked at and they would repair at our expense, later after taking photos for La-Z-Boy and having the sofa repaired,we were told a small amount would be allowed for next purchase and this was done by the owers of the store, not the La-Z-Boy company. Our family was hoping to add to the sofa, but the cost here is above other sites under La-Z-Boy. Bottom line, La-z-Boy needs to make amends for any faulty items, not the store owners,although, the amount for labor and repair would have been double what was offered for a return purchase under the same company name. They have a three floor store with some very nice things, The bottom floor has the most expensive but nicer quality furniture and the second floor has mostly bedrooma and kitchen furniture. The top floor is mostly bargain furniture. There is nothing wrong with anyting we have ever purchased from it except it is discontinued and you can't finance it. They do 6 months financing. They are very nice to. Overall it's a great store. more
