Had to input 1 star for review my true feelings -5 star.
I would like to first say that I used to work for the David Wilson group and In particular Newport Lexus. I retired from the industry and I am not a ""disgruntled ex employee"" so you can believe what I am about to disclose. I could write a book about this place and the David Wilson Group and what they do to customers (aka suckers, sheep).
As with others that have written negatives about Newport Lexus and the a David Wilson Auto Group I agree with them 100%...Stay away from this and these dealership's.
I know for a fact that most of the positive feedback represented on here is people working for the dealership trying to get ""sheep"" as they call them in the dealership for a good fleecing as they put it .
I have a conscience that is why I am coming out and advising anyone looking at buying a major purchase like a vehicle to do their homework and avoid this place and all David Wilson owned or part owned dealerships at all cost's.
David Wilson started out with nothing and has acquired what he has now by someone giving him a chance in the beginning as a general manager way back when letting him buy into his first dealership as a 25% partner owner. Wilson seeing how he acted and what has flourished from this practice has implemented the same today.
As a general manager that now owns a 25% stake in the company the owner of the dealership knows the GM will take every last cent out of a customers pocket because he now has a vested interest in the dealership and is not just an employee.
Wilson has done this with all of his dealerships turning a possibly decent (that's a stretch) GM into a money obsessed individual only focusing on the golden ring with no honesty or decency what soever .
The individuals at Newport Lexus that contribute to this problem are Allen Moznett current GM and AJ D'amato co owner with the David Wilson Group.
Again I would like to reiterate a point that I have nothing to gain by bringing this information to light just the personal satisfaction as a good Christian that if the information provided can save someone the nightmare they will endure from buying a vehicle or service from this place and the David Wilson Group in general.
Also most dealership's will not come out and tell you they are part of the David Wilson Group so tread wisely and ask before dealing with a particular dealership, one comes to mind is Toyota of Huntington Beach.
Again PLEASE FOR YOUR SAKE STAY..STAY..STAY AWAY FROM THIS AND THESE PLACE'S AND SPREAD THE WORD TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW !!!!
