I recently went to Dr. Micah Westmoreland and I was very impressed by everything about this office. The office is very clean. The doctor sees you promptly. No lectures about how you're not flossing or anything like that. Just good, reasonable advice. Also told me about many options and explained the pros and cons of each. Some of the cheaper options were, in his opinion, actually the best ones for me. Computers that allow them to look at x-rays are available in each patient booth, so that speeds up the process. Some of the dentists accept certain insurance, while others don't. Make sure you inquire when you call. I was given a print-out about the things I need done and the cost after insurance which really makes it easy to plan. There are a very few negatives. There's not a lot of privacy. I couldn't hear conversations happening to my left or right, but we were separated by only a thin shower curtain. Parking is no problem and it's easy to get to. A big advantage, the dentists and hygienists work different nights each week - to 7 p.m. which menas you don't always have to take vacation time to get your routine cleaning done. The pain that comes when you're in the dental chair is still there, but it does seem to be better due to different medications. If I had tried this office a few years ago, I believe my teeth would have been in much better shape than they are now.
