Normally the food is good but this time.....fries were cold and the meat tasted old on the sandwich. Disappointing.... more

I was truely upset. I did not get my free sandwich which I had a coupon for they messed up my order and I had to wait around another hour to get my new sandwich. I could not eat lunch with my coworkers because of this. When I finally got the sandwich it tasted stale and bland. How do you mess up a sandwich? The meat was dry the bread was hard and I was totally digusted. And to think I waited for almost 2 hours for that...never again...never... more

New York Deli is one of my favorite places on GrubHub. Great deli sandwiches, but also try their pita pizza, or their fried zuchini! more

The food was good, however the packaging left the food cold and a bit moist. more

Don't get me wrong, the food is pretty delicious. But I can only ever order delivery from them during lunch as I can't leave my desk, and THAT is pretty hit or miss. Some days I'll get my food within 15 minutes of ordering, sometimes it'll take an hour and a half, or more. So by the time you get your food the chips are slightly soggy and don't have a nice crunch to them and the pickle and the sandwich have reached the same temperature--that of the room. Another difference I've noticed, when ordering through grubhub they are the only ones who don't make me sign for my order. It's not a complaint or a bonus, just an oddity I noticed. They come in, drop of the food, and leave. Barely even say a word usually. From now on though, I think I'm going to order from other restaurants in the area. I can't afford to not know when or if I'm even going to get to take a quick lunch break. more

Was charged for the order but was called by the establishment saying it was too late for delivery...I just blew 19.07 I think I should get my money back...Ill bet you would feel the same way too. more

The food was delicious as usual and the service was right on time. The delivery people are always so nice and great customer began with the front lines when I received a call from the restaurant to verify my order. The person to whom I spoke was friendly and professional. They've got a customer for life! more

On 1/16/2012 I placed an online order for delivery. The delivery driver arrived within 45 minutes but did not have all of the items I orderd. I paid in cash and the driver was long gone once I opened the bag. I called New York Deli and let them know, they apologized and promised to send the delivery driver out with the rest of my order. An hour later, I called back to check the status - no answer. I was then forwarded to voicemail again and again. They never answered my call, never called back, and never delivered the rest of my order. Luckily Eat24Hours was amazing and gave me a credit for the missing items. But, I will never order from New York Deli again. Not trustworthy and obviously does not have good business practices. They could have easily apologized and gave another option to correct it, but to promise re-delivery and not to come, and then ignore my calls - I will NEVER do business with them again. more

Try the reuben! I've not seen corn beef with less fat anywhere!! The service is very friendly no matter what time of the day I've been in or called an order in! Oh and I love the cold cut sub and the chicken salad!! more
