this was the best bar tending school I have ever attended. The staff and the teachers are great. I had such great hands on experience and only finished in a week. LOVE IT <3

not only did I have fun but I also learned a lot and had fun at the same time. It's great hands on experinece you will value this for the rest of your life, I recommend this school forschool to all my friends that wish to become bartenders. Pros: speed drills Cons: not enough free drinks. more

Great School 9/29/2006

Before attending NY Bartending School of South Florida I had very little knowledge of alcohol. The training and speed drills prepared me for my career as a bartender. The instructor was great! I recommend this school to anyone thinking of getting into this industry. Pros: The speed drills more

i love my job and i love this school 9/16/2006

Im currently working as a bartender in the VIP lounge at Pure Nightlife in the Bahamas. I applied as a hostess to get my foot in the door but they called me back like within 2 hours literally to tell me they want to utilize me as a baretender because of my certificates from the New York Bartending School. The guy who is our bar manager is from the states and he said he worked at a lot of south beach clubs and he hired someone before from this school. He said the guy worked out very well so he knew that i was going to be great for the job. so i was hired instantly u can say. i started the next day. i had no problems at all thanks to the schools training. i have to say to u guys looking to bartend, u cannot go wrong with this bartending school, i mean i travelled from the Bahamas to take this course and it paid off big time. No Substitute for Quality Training! 9/15/2006

There is no substitute for quality training and you will get it at this Fort Lauderdale bartending school for sure! Quality people, great learning environment and atmosphere. I highly recommend it. Pros: Raising a Pint (Yeh - real beer system)! Cons: Having to go home! more

The instructors truly care. They want to make sure that when you graduate you are fully equipped to get a job. They take the amount of time needed to assure that each student learns bartending the right way. I checked out another school in Fort Lauderdale but found the facilities at the New York Bartending School much better. They also taught the POS system whereas the other school did not. I just got a better feeling from the staff of this school. Pros: They care! Solid training! Better facilities! Cons: Absolutely none more
