New York Appliance Repair came all the way to my upper Manhattan New York apartment for a freezer repair job on my old Amana Freezer. It must be at least 20 years old. The man told me it was one of the best models made back then and well worth fixing. It came to just under 75.00 for everything. That was well worth it especially considering the long trip from 66th street. more

When my commercial refrigerator in the restaurant broke down I was in a panic. I had used New York Appliance Repair at my apartment in Midtown New York and was happy with them so I gave them a call. The service man got here right away and got me up and running again. From now on I am calling Apple for any refrigerator repair. more

these guys know and do their job PERFECTLY!!! 2/20/2012

When my dishes started to come out dirty from my whirlpool dishwasher, I decided to call an appliance repair company. Initially I called another company (superior) which came over and said that the machine is unfixable and that I would have to replace it. Refusing to believe that a seven year old machine could be garbage I decided to try out New York Appliance Repair. I have to say, they were so much better than my previous repair experience. They sent over their mechanic the same day I called, he took a look at my dishwasher and told me that the problem had something to do with the pressure switch. Sure enough, he replaced it and now the dishwasher is cleaning the dishes like it used to. In my experience they were truly great. more

I’ve used New York Appliance Repair for years whenever any of my appliances have broken. They’ve always sent over great technicians who were both polite and knowledgeable. If there’s any later problem they are good about creating follow up appointments to solve any issues. They’ve kept my appliances working great and I’d really recommend them for others looking for a reliable appliance repair company. more

SUPERB appliance repair service 12/22/2011

My ten year old whirlpool dryer stopped spinning one day and I was concerned that since my machine was ten years old, that there wouldn’t be parts available for it. I called NYC APPLIANCE REPAIR and I got an appointment for the following day, which was Saturday, for no extra charge- which was nice. The mechanic told me that I needed to replace the belt on the dryer. He said that he would try to find it at a local parts retailer. Like two days later I got a call that they’ve located the belt. They came over that same day ad completed the repair. I had a really good experience with this company and I’d recommend them to others looking for a good appliance repair company. more

Definitely highly recommended 5/26/2011

I have three young boys and they’re always getting into different messes. Needless to say I do a lot of laundry, about three times a week. When my Bosch washing machine stopped working, I needed someone to come and repair it quick. The repairman from New York Appliance Repair that came over had the necessary parts in his truck and was able to fix my machine on the spot. He was also very personable and polite, which was great since my kids and dogs are always all over place and my house is hectic. I really liked the technician, and the repair was quick, and my washing machine works great now. I liked this company and would use them again. more

Thanks for my stove repair 5/3/2011

I love to cook, so when my GE stove starting malfunctioning I was really upset. Two out of my four burners stopped working. I called New York APPLIANCE REPAIR and they sent Lev over. He was great, he found that he didn’t need to replace any parts, but that cleaning the gas valve would do the trick. He explained why the stove wasn’t working well, and now everything works great. Lev was great, and it was a great repair company. more

Reliable and fast appliance repair in New York 5/2/2011

When I was cooking some steak on our Jenn Aire grill, my wife noticed that the room was starting to fill with smoke. Our unit was not ducting the smoke out, and that’s why it was filling the room. I shut it off, and scheduled and appointment with New York Appliance Repair. They came over, repaired the duct fan, and had the unit in top shape in no time. I found the repairman to be friendly and professional and very knowledgeable. I will call New York Appliance Repair for any repairs I have from now on. more

Outstanding NYC appliance repair 4/25/2011

I have an old Maytag dishwasher that has served me well for years. When the day came that it stopped getting my dishes clean, I did not want to replace it unless absolutely necessary. I went online and found New York Appliance Repair. The repairman that came over saved my old Maytag from the scrapheap by simply replacing a part. It actually works better than it has for years. I will call them again for any repairs in the future. more

Best appliance repair company in NYC 4/18/2011

When we bought our house it came with a Kenmore washer and dryer in the basement. We knew the pair was old but they both worked pretty well. One day the electric dryer stopped getting hot and I told my wife it was time to replace it. She had heard about New York Appliance Repair and decided to call them first. The man who came to check it out was very pleasant. He looked at the machine and said there was no need to replace it. It was just a heating coil that needed to be changed. Our dryer still works great, we haven’t had any problems with it since the repair. more

No Service to Review 12/28/2010

I am so annoyed with this unprofessional company. I made an appointment for Apple to come fix my frig the next day and they told me they would call the next day to confirm. I thought it was more of a heads up call to let me know when during the three hour window they gave me they would be coming. I should have known then that something was fishy. The next day rolls around and I am anxiously awaiting my 10-1 window. It's getting close to 1 and I have gotten no call-so I call them. The girl on the phone says she needs to call the technician to make sure he is on his way-another bad sign. She calls back a couple of minutes later and explains that the guy got stuck in his car and so I should probably reschedule for tomorrow. Okay, I know I was calling Apple to help out just two days after a big snow storm, but come on, they can call to let me know if they have gotten stuck. I think the guy never had any intention of ever coming on the day I scheduled it. I think it was unprofessional and rude. I stayed home from work. more

Apple Refrigerator Repair fixed my Subzero refrigerator The guy came within two hours after my call. He was very polite and knowledgeable.\r It took him less then an hour to put my fridge back in order. I am very satisfied with this service and am going to use them again in the future.\r more

Alpine air in my house. 3/19/2010

Guys from Apple Refrigerator Repair installed ductless mini split air conditioning system in my house. Very accurate, fast . The system works great. The guys told me what options I have , which systems are better and why. I ended up choosing Fujitsu. I am very happy with outcome. I have an Alpine Air in my house now ! Thanks Apple . Great Job! Great service! 2/13/2010

My Maytag refrigerator broke and that was the day of snow storm in the City. I called few companies: they were all closed due to bad weather.
