This studio has many wonderful teachers. They are great inspirations for the students that take class there. The choreography is so well done! All the competition numbers do really well at comps. THE HAVE FANTASTIC COSTUMER SERVICE BY THE WAY!!!! more

Horrible customer service!!! I was taking my daughter to the ballet/tap class with Ms.Linda. Kids will be kids and my daughter was having one of those days and Ms.Linda grabbed and picked up my daughter and took her out of the classroom. My daughter was crying and startled when she picked her up. This teacher has no patience with children, is very rude and shouldnt be working with young children. I asked her that if next time there was a problem with my child to let me know I would take care of it. Ms.Linda response was, "Well I'm not the teacher for everyone. And there are other dance studios out there!" I couldnt believe how nasty, rude, and unprofessional she was. I spoke with the owner Terry regarding my complaint and he was even worse. He was rude and didnt acknowledge my concern as a parent. I couldnt believe how rude and insensitive the staff was. They might seem nice and friendly at first but if you have any concerns WATCH OUT!! more

My daughter has been a student of Ms. Linda for a few years now. She adores NWD and especially Linda. Not only is Linda patient with her kids she is also fun to watch. It isn't surprising to see her walk around with fairy wings or glittering with so much fairy dust on any given day. \r The instructors at this school know what they are doing, know how to teach and the dancers at this studio are amazing. My baby girl now takes tap/ballet and jazz and loves it. more

I'm a dance fan and all I can say is WOW! I went to this years recital (2009) and like most it ran a little long but every other performance seemed TV ready, I was not expecting that. They seem to be ahead of the game in terms of direction, lots of Contemporary Jazz and Lyrical stuff (loved it), amazing Hip Hop and then out pops this great Tap #, all mixed in with the typical recital stuff (the little ones are always adorable) making it easy to sit through. It really was a great show. The studio is a little small but I guess that translates into more special attention for the students, and in the end that's what it's all about. And its just called "New World Dance"... A line on the sign out front reads "Center for the Media and Performing Arts but it's not part of their title. more

Then this is the place for you. If you care about classical dance, then maybe not. They're friendly and accommodating, but limited in their expertise. It's a great place to bring children who want to start up dance as a hobby or sport of choice. more

New World Dance Center for Media has always impressed me with their hip hop dancers. We have been watching them perform at all of the high school dance shows throughout the years and they amaze and entertain the crowd. Their choreography is second to none and they even have very talented guys that dance. Very cool. more

I have watched my niece dance for about 10 years, I am always amazed at what I see, any dance studio that is great but this is tops, friendly people and just a great place. more

This studio has innovative hip hop teams and instructors. They compete and also perform for the local High Schools. This is the studio to attend if you want to learn the latest hip hop moves. more
