I enjoyed the recreational class I went to. I found the almost all of other people to be very warm and friendly. The class begins with an overview, then divides us into pairs where we make one of the dishes. We capped off the class by eating our creations. Very fun experience, though I was expecting more teaching and guidance while we cooked. Also, I wished that the teachers encouraged interactions among the students. For instance, when I walked in, they should've said hello, or when we ate, it would've been nice if the teachers ate with us and facilitated conversation among the group, maybe even toast our work. But they just sat in the corner and left us alone. Which is a pity because as I mentioned, everyone was really nice and looked like we would've had some good conversations. Other than that, it's a good experience.
Pros: nice people, nice venue
Cons: teachers aloof
