Great store - high prices 10/31/2010

New Leaf is a Tallahassee staple for organic food. They have a great variety and wonderful deli department that also makes smoothies. The prices are high - but what organic food store doesn't have high prices? Would love to have a Trader Joes here - but until Earthfare opens in December - New Leaf is the only place to find all your organic staples. more

For hard to find ingredients 4/8/2008

The New Leaf is what food coops are all about. In business since 1974, the New Leaf provides first-quality groceries that are a bit out of the mainstream. Where else in Tallahassee can you find so many grains, spices, and organic vegetables?\r \r The prices are not Sam's Club, but neither is the quality. Yes, I buy my bulk rice at Publix, but I buy my Arborio at the New Leaf. On the other hand, some of the bulk items, like spices, are a bargain at the New Leaf. The produce is FRESH! more

Excellent selection 9/12/2005

Awesome natural food store. They have wonderful organic fruits and vegetables and dairy section. The deli makes great prepared meals and the selection of vitamins and beauty products is awesome. They even have organic frozen foods for the convenience shopper and great natural cleaning supplies that wont hurt the environment more

The New Leaf deli staff is quick. The food is always fresh and tasty. This health food store also offers classes and seminars in cooking and healthy living. I've learned to make the best salsa ever from one of them. My only complaint is how expensive everything is. Who can actually afford to buy 100% of groceries there? Nice that the NLM gives to charity but as a shareholder I'd like more than $20 refund check at year's end because shopping there is so pricey! PROS: fresh, healthy and tasty food in deli and otherwise CONS: way too expensive more
