These guys were great. Took all the big stuff and didn't scratch or break anything. I was really impressed with how quick and careful they were. The guys were friendly and polite but most importantly they were extremely professional. I can tell they knew what they were doing. They wrapped and protected all of my furniture. Yes, you read that correctly!\r \r The original quote was for $225. I had it in writing.\r \r What I didn't know is they charge you to drive to and from your home, and they charged me $1500 for supplies. Just to wrap my TV set was $250. Then they load it all into the truck, and demanded $3000 at 9:30 at night or else they drive off with all of your stuff. They used 36 rolls of tape.\r \r They also take their time walking up and down the stairs. They are in no rush. They took 5-12 hours to load. And they were two hours late.\r \r My son is 7-1/2 months old and they had his crib, clothes, toys, changing table, you name it!\r \r He was crying loudly and I had to change in him in my car (if you are a parent, you know it's not that comfortable). All he wanted to do is go to sleep, and they made a tremendous amout of noise.\r \r Not only this, they didn't even close the door behind them after loading the truck. They left the door wide open.\r \r They really ripped me off. I feel awful that I used them. I called the police, and there was nothing that I could do because I signed the contract.\r \r And the best part --- at the main office # , someone rarely picks up the phone. You have to call several times between 9 and 5 to reach someone. It's a cell phone that goes directly to voicemail most of the time and the mailbox is full. I couldn't even speak to a manager.\r \r Please don't make the same mistake I did. Now I'm going to have to take several follow-up actions.\r \r They also broke one of my mother-in-laws pictures.\r \r Then the guy (Ari) has the gaul to tell me I have a beautiful son!\r \r They ended up leaving at 12:30 at night.\r \r If they had a minus one-hundred star, I would have selected this option.\r \r more

These guys really do good jobs in moving our stuff. Very helpful and patient even though they have to walk three floors up and down loading our stuff on the truck. They provide reasonable prices and hire very nice movers. Looking forward to working with you guys again in the future. \r more

Four guys and a 26 foot truck showed up at 9am to help my family move about 3 miles to a new house. These guys worked 13 hours STRAIGHT as fast as they could go. Didn't even take a lunch or a dinner. These guys were the most amazing movers that I have ever seen. It was a pleasure to meet and know every one of them. I really appreciate the effort they took to take care of everything. We spent the next day barely able to move. It's hard to believe that they had another move the very next day. I fully recommend them for your next move. Ask for this crew, they are awesome!!! more

These guys came out early last week to move me from my old house to new. They were on time, wrapped everything properly, were courteous, and broke nothing. The price was fair also. At most there were some sweat marks and a scratch on a wall outside a doorway, but no big deal in the overall work. I will call them again first for future moving needs. Also, communication with the office was easy when I needed to change the move date due to not knowing exactly when my closing date was. Thanks! more

the employees must be writing the good reviews. This company ""scammed"" us for more money. Had to get police involved. Owner would not return phone calls. Quoted a very good price, then driver would not release furntiture till we paid more. No one was in the office to take the phone calls we made. Do not use. Police said they would have gotten us for even more if they had not come. more

It is very hard finding a good and honest moving company. I originally contracted to go with another moving company, but they NEVER SHOWED UP!!!. So I desperately called every moving company because I NEEDED to move that day. I am a single mother of 2 children and there was no way possible I would be able to move everything on my own. NJ ELITE definitely saved the day!!!.. They offered me the best rate. I explained to them my situation and provided them with an itemized list. So there were no surprises. I HAD PURCHASED ALL OF THE MATERIALS ON MY OWN... So I paid 400 for 6hours. THEY DID AN AMAZING JOB. THEY MANAGED TO TURN MY WORST DAY EVER INTO MY BEST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER !!! NJ Elite moved me last week, They did a really good with everything. My only complaint was that they were an hour late because of traffic but other than that I have nothing bad to say about this company. They worked really hard and worked so professionally. The guys were all very polite and listened to my orders of where to put all of my belongings. They disassembled and reassembled everything. Mostly good I hired NJ Elite Movers.. GREAT Customer Service to move several pieces of furniture from my childhood home to my current home. The 3 workmen were pleasant, careful with everything and eager to help. They wrapped and padded all pieces and placed them where I wanted after unloading. Everything was in perfect condition on arrival and they worked quickly enough to stay within the estimated time frame so that I didn't have to pay extra. I got several estimates and theirs was the best one. My only complaint was that one of them constantly dropped hints about expecting a tip. It was not only unprofessional, but I was tempted to give him much less than I planned. Tips are not required; they are for service above and beyond what is expected. I'm sure he is already being paid well through the company. I deducted one star for his behavior. BUT, Overall they did a fantastic jobb. more

I've used NJ ELITE movers 3 times now, in addition to recommending them to friends for their moves, and everyone has had a great moving experience. The guys are on time, quick and very careful with my belongings. Everything arrives in the same condition as it was packed. In addition, I appreciated the confirmation call, wardrobe boxes and an extremely clean truck. The team arrived on time. All of the guys were very nice, and very good at what they do. They took good care of my furniture, which included several delicate glass items, and moved everything out and unloaded it quickly. I had NJ Elite Movers move me and my stuff and they handled all my stuff very carefully. They padded and even shrink wrapped my furniture. They packed my stuff in their truck tight and nothing moved. It was great to see none of my stuff broken or damaged. The movers were polite and funny. They arrived on time and worked diligently.
